    Epic adventure Grace! Great that you had such nice weather. I loved seeing the sections where you walked along the beach. Amazing views. I can tell you really had to keep an eye on the tides and plan carefully, looks like you hit it just right every time. It’s wonderful to see the tide pools, I might have wanted to stay and look at all the sea anemones and sea urchins. How fun to camp right on the beach every night, beautiful sounds and amazing stars too. Those stairs look super challenging, whew. Great job, really enjoyed the video! 🙌🙌👍👍😄💙💙 - Jennifer

      Thank you Jennifer :-) Yes, the stairs are really challenging. By the way, we could see some views of the US coasts from this trail :-)

      @@graceescapes4637 Beautiful! A big stretch of the northern part of the WA coast is national Park- I’ve hiked there a bit. Really exciting to hike along the ocean shore! Maybe someday we’ll get up to BC for some hiking!

    Hiked it back in the mid 1970's. I see a lot of improvements since then. Too bad Tsusiat Falls was only trickling and there was so much fog. A rigorous yet gorgeous hike.

      Hello . Wow .. I can’t imagine how’s the ladders back then ? and yeah, I heard Tsusiat is diminishing. Yes, it’s indeed a gorgeous hike . Thank you and Happy trails !

      @@graceescapes4637 Tsusiat was running full flow back then. They were just starting to put in the improvements along the trail. In some spots we walked on top of the Sala over hanging the cliff side. I do not know if they changed the trail, however back then there was part of the trail at the south end that you walked on logs up in the air in a blow down area. A great piece of history.

      The 70s was much more challenging, particularly from Campers to Walbran (9kms). Logan, Cullite, the bog...
      In 2000, the trail was in very good shape. All new boardwalk was put in and it was a stroll through the bog areas. The ladders were in good shape, so that section was quite easy.

      @@TheWctman They were bringing material in to upgrade the trail when I hiked it in the 70's.

    That ReLive summary was very cool...can you explain how it is used? ie. do you need to have a tracking device active at all times?

    • @graceescapes4637
      @graceescapes4637  4 месяца назад

      Hi , yes it is 😊 you just download the app, press record at the start of your hike, then hit finish recording at the end. .. then request the app to make the video. No need for tracking device - the app itself does the work 😊Thanks for watching ! Happy trails!
