Oh my, I love this. I've shared tutorial links with my two former students / beading friends and I know they will love seeing this. We were having a discussion just yesterday about this. I so appreciate that we can all look over your shoulder
That is perfect, thank you. I have several stones I want to simply hold/capture, not do an elaborate wrap pattern. I like a very simple wrap to hold the stones, not overpower the look of the stone with the wire design. I won't use this for shark teeth but for assorted stones with a similar shape.
thanks! this is a great video and I'm excited to try my hand at this. I went to a "dinosaur and shark" themed wedding recently (yes, really) and they gave out various sharks' teeth as party favors. I found your video because I am hoping to wrap a couple of them and give them to the couple as gifts.
Thanks Patti - if you watch my intro video you will discover I am doing with with my laptop so there is no way to hold it over my head while I work, sorry.
What about the loop on the top? Do you mean how to make a bail? There are hundreds of ways that is where the art comes in. You can look at all the different kinds of bails I have made here szarkas . com
Very nice. Often times I find simple is better with an already beautiful stone/bead. I've never seen this technique. Thanks so much!
