I was feeling a little down about world events and worried about the future for our children and then saw this and immediately was blessed to see such great kids my own will grow up with in this world. There’s. Good. People. Still. God is still on the throne! Loved this one, Megan.
You are wise beyond your years! Its so relaxing for me to watch your videos after a long day at work. I’m a Registered Nurse in Canada and I look after and help people all day long and I always look forward to watching your videos to wind down with at night. It’s a “treat” I give myself. So thank you for just being you!
Great video! I just can't believe Miller is already 2 years old. I remember him being born! And now you're having another boy....how exciting! Your days are filled with such joy and you set a wonderful example of how to truly enjoy motherhood, being a wife and homemaker. Thank you for sharing!
Megan, thank you for actually being a Mom to your kids. I didn't have that growing up, so it does my heart good to see you playing with kids as well as teaching them. Love Miller's reaction to the frosting covered truck. lol
Megan, I don't know anything about video production but I can tell you that you do such a wonderful job at putting your videos together. They're warm, inviting, inspiring and beautifully edited together. You have an eye for capturing details that make your videos so, so good. Your talents and gifts bless so many of us! Thank you.
I'm in a trying season, dealing with serious health issues but still being a single mom to two busy teens. Your videos give me such peace. It fills my heart with joy to see your beautiful family together, loving & supporting each other. You are such an amazing mom & Josh is a wonderful father! Thank you so much for sharing your life & wisdom with us! Happy birthday blessings to Miller!! 🎉Sending prayers for so much joy these next few months of celebration. And especially a healthy, easy delivery of your precious baby boy! God bless!!!
We cut and peel apples and freeze them in gallon bags, during the winter I just take out a bag and put them in the crock pot in the morning, and then when my daughter got home from school warm apple sauce was ready. We have it on oatmeal the rest of the week. No sugar needed.
I appreciate the encouragement to focus on always coming back to the basic routines. I am a newly single Mom, and so now I am the one the kids look to to set the structure of the day. I have not been letting them help me with much because I always think I can do it faster. However, like the applesauce making, it could actually be a good time for us to bond and get a task done. & they have really been wanting to help me unload the dishwasher...they are so sweet, next time I will say, Yes!
I have a one year old, and I've been teaching him to do so many things by himself the last couple months and he is really catching on now and doing those things without me telling him now which is so amazing and takes so much work off my shoulders!!
Always uplifting Always fun Always enjoy your meal choices…….Hobo Packets!! That is definitely happening this week!! Perfect for Wednesday evening when Christmas Choir Rehearsal happens!! Thanks Megan for living your faith in such a lovely way!!
Your first tip about cooking double portions then eating later in the week is exactly what we do. When we shop we buy ingredients for a chicken based meal, a fish based meal and a red meat meal. That takes us to 6 days then on the 7th day I usually rustle up something easy from the freezer or a simple pasta dish or we eat out. We get the children involved in choosing the 3 meals each week too.
Megan, your videos have become so entertaining! Thanks for providing interesting content with overlay of voice. It captivates the audience. Kudos to a family of 5 soon to be 6. What beautiful healthy memories.
I love, love, love all your vlogs. You always restore the hope in me, that there are still good people out there and most importantly those who love and serve our Lord. Keep up your good work. Blessings for you and your loved ones. Greetings from Germany, Claudia.
I have a tip for anyone who doesn't have time to make homemade applesauce. 😁 My mama would put a jar of unsweetened applesauce in a pot Sunday morning and a peeled sliced apple, brown sugar, and cinnamon. She would let it cook while the rest of breakfast cooked and then take a potatoes masher to it to break the apple into chunks. It tasted homemade and she only had to cut 1 or 2 apples depending on the amount she made that morning.
Totally get having applesauce with your chocolate cake with peanut butter icing! And it's got to be peanut butter icing! 😀 I grew up with that tradition. Although the jury is out on needing to pour the applesauce on top! I like it better on the side, but my father faithfully puts it on top of his cake!
I know of a family who makes quilts - fleece or tied - whenever they got together to talk and they'd save them for special occasions, like if someone in the family gets married or whatever. Love Miller's birthday party!🎉 Can't believe he's 2!
This was one of my favorite videos you’ve ever made. Beautiful and encouraging going into this very special season. Lots of love to your family!❤ And happy birthday, Miller! 🎉
I make my applesauce in my 5 quart crockpot. Wash apples, cut in quarters (no need to peel or core). I use only Cortlands (we have trees). Fill the crockpot full, then add 3 cut-up pears.Start on high for about an hour, then on low for at least 5 hours or until the apples are soft. Put through a food mill. To one crockpot of sauce, I add 1/3 cup sugar, a scant teaspoon of salt, and a teaspoon of vanilla. I always freeze my applesauce.
Thank you for reminding me to dial it back and relish the simple joys. I think we get so busy and things get more involved than they have to be! Love you channel! 😊
I loved the reminder of "make it simple" and "take time for your loved ones"❤! Love to you and your family from a very busy new primary school headmaster in Germany🙈😵💫.
I made (chunky) applesauce once. It was wonderful, but a lot of (messy) work. If I had an apple tree, I would continue making it, but since I don't, I'll just buy it at the store. Much easier and good enough for me. Happy Birthday! Miller.
Miller's birthday cake looked so delicious...Miller is such a he's such a good kid especially for his age. You really she be proud of all the children. Love watching your show..Bless you and your family.
Megan you always put so much care into making your videos, And it is appreciated and stands from those who mechanically put something together, they are genuine and heartfelt, even when you must be tired. Thank You for sharing so much with so many..🙏😊♥️
Loved it . I know i dont have to tell you but everyone enjoy your little ones as they grow up so quickly. I now have young grand children, girls, and i look at them how they are growing and ask myself each time i see them " when did that happen" Children are such a joy . Thank you Megan for sharing your life I do enjoy all of it lol love from Scotland x
So many good reminders in this video. I really enjoyed this! Do you ever get in a rut and feel uninspired and unmotivated? What do you do to snap out of it? I really love your priority and planning for friendships!
This was great Megan. Good tips. I've been thinking and praying about being in the moment and this just brought it home. I'm gonna slow down and enjoy the moment. Ty
Happy Birthday to Miller, hard to belive He is 2 already! Fun video as always, I love the beginning and ending with the whole family enjoying the leaves!!!! The music with it is perfect, too.
I love how refreshing your videos are and a great reminder of enjoying all the moments vs stressing over it all. Joy in every step. Unrelated do you have a link to your dinning room light
Oh, what a fun video! I enjoyed watching your entire family enjoying the wonder of the season together. I grew up in Ohio, and raking and then jumping into the fall leaf pile was so, so fun! I now live in Texas, so thanks for bringing back memories of a much-anticipated annual activity while growing up. Also, happy birthday to Miller! It was sweet of you to bring us along for part of his celebration.
Barbara George I find it helps to plan one dish to take to invitations during December: you stock up on the ingredients, become familiar with the recipe, and don’t need to think about it. I change it every year.
Happy birthday, Miller! Thank you for the reminder that the small traditions are the biggest deal. And thank you for sharing all the smiles and laughter.
I love your idea of making Making light work of many hands.... I loved those days as a young Mom! I do need to host something. Love your idea of crafting with friends and a charcuterie board!
Your videos bring such joy - it’s just so beautiful to see a loving, nurturing family. I love your birthday traditions - they’re dependable threads woven into your family’s tapestry of memories.
Happy Happy Birthday little Miller! 🎂 🎈 🎈 🎉 You are the cutest little guy with your beautiful big blue eyes. All of the children are so adorable! Thank you Megan for sharing your beautiful family with us. ❤
Your videos are a highlight of my week! As a conservative Christian, stay at home mum, small business owner it gives me so much inspiration to watch someone like me! Seriously, I have implemented alot if things you do in my life. If we lived closer I think we'd be friends!
Wonderful video as always! I love all the suggestions you made. I am so glad you got to spend that time with your Mom and sisters. Thank you for sharing with us.
What a beautiful upload Megan, I always made my daughters birthday special, still do and she is 36! But so beautiful that everyone helps in a little way. I thought I had some unruly leaves in my garden but woooow you definitely win 😂.. I couldn't believe how great value your apples are,I paid £2 for 6 small apples the other day,it would cost a fortune for me to make apple sauce. Miller is so grown up and aware of everything, you & Josh have some Amazing children. Can't wait to hear what the babies name will be,what collection of surnames will you put together I wonder, very clever way of coming up with fabulous names that next to know one has hehe. Have a great weekend.
I love apple season! Baked apples, apple bread, apple crisp, hot apple cider. Mmm. My sister used to make apple butter every year from an apple tree in her yard, but she moved. Oh well. Maybe ill get some at a local orchard this year. Your children are sooo precious. Love your channel. 🍎🍁🍎🍁
Watching you from Vienna, Austria (originally from Toronto, currently living here). Love all your videos! They are always full of genuine love for everyone around you, appreciation for the world you're living in and integrity. Thank you for doing what you do 🤗 It makes our days a little brighter 🤗

I am rewatching this video but I love how you share your birthday traditions. My mom always made me a cake for my birthday so I want to continue that with my kiddos.
I'm in school and am gone during lunchtime, so i make a big double batch of egg fried rice for Monday and Wednesday lunch, so it's easy for my husband to reheat for our kids! Scrambled eggs make a good quick option for Tuesday and Thursday lunches too.
Happy Birthday Miller!!❤ That cake was so cute. I love the idea of talking with your family unit on what's important to them. Love a good tradition. Great video, thank you as always for your time and effort.
Birthday blessings to Miller! 🥳🥳 I do agree with you about threes being a bit more trying with all the BIG emotions than the twos. We had three daughters and it was true with each of them. Your video was so peaceful and calm, even though you were busy! Your voice-over, I suppose, it was really made it so. Thank you for putting such a wonderful video out there for us all to savor and enjoy. Your tips were practical and helpful. Thank you, again! 💛🧡💛
Megan thanks for a lovely and motivating video. You and family beautiful. You so remind me of my daughter Megan who moved to a farm in N Carolina. Two littles and does much of what you do. Another daughter here in NY with her son who also has family values similar. I love watching you and wish the entire family a lovely holiday season. With blessings and good health in your pregnancy! Blessings
I always try to change the leftovers in some way- hamburgers then hamburgers and gravy with mashed potatoes, or pork roast with potatoes then maybe pulled pork sandwiches… something like that! 🙂🙂 love the video!

@@MeganFoxUnlocked it 100% is. Not everyone has an eye for those moments to be captured, and the proper music really sets the mood. 👍🏼 keep it up

Love to you and your family from a very busy new primary school headmaster in Germany🙈😵💫.
What a fun week! Happy Birthday to Miller.🥳 I agree, the 3’s were more emotional than the 2’s for my kids.
Megan, I agree with you about freezer food. Stuff goes into my freezer and never comes out.😘
It's sad, but I always feel forced to serve it and nobody really is in love! Stromboli is the exception!
Watching Miller's face as you poured in the cupcake mix to the cupcake patties pans. So precious!
I made (chunky) applesauce once. It was wonderful, but a lot of (messy) work. If I had an apple tree, I would continue making it, but since I don't, I'll just buy it at the store. Much easier and good enough for me. Happy Birthday! Miller.

Nice to see children playing in piles of leaves and parents praying with their children. Keep up with that good parenting.

Haha that’s so funny, my son Mason is turning 2 in a couple of days and he also LOVES his dads truck, and also says truck in a low voice 😂 also rock and saw, it’s the cutest thing 🥰
I got my Native order in.👏🏻Thanks!
Thank you so much for your advice! I am going to sit down and think about these each week I plan.
It's definitely a lot of work!
This is such a beautiful peak into your life and thank you for such a loving “pep” talk as we enter this coming season. Your perspective on motherhood and homemaking is so uplifting. Wishing you and your family many blessings 🙏🏻
I always prepare extra for almost every meal so we have left overs 😊
I love to bake but don't always have the time to bake and clean up the mess. So when I do bake I try to double or triple the recipes and freeze the extras before they are baked. I will scoop out the cookie dough and freeze them on a sheet and then bag them up so all I have to do is pull yhem out and bake them when we want some fresh baked goodies. If I make a fruit crisp I will also mix it all up and freeze it in a baking dish so when we want it I can pull it out and bake it!
Blending two kinds of apples for sauce is popular now and so good. Many apples compliment each other. This fall I used Honey Crisp, seconds, and Ginger Gold. Yum,
You always decorate your home so beautifully!! Your blanket should have arrived at your P.0 box so I hope you get chance to collect it ❤
