    This is an excellent review Brian. If more dealers did these types of content, it would make the adoption of PHEVs and BEVs less daunting for consumers.

    Here you get the information that you don't get elsewhere. But I wonder where the electric motor is located and what type of motor it is.

    • @doolanbrian
      @doolanbrian  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you for watching ! The 8.9 kWh lithium ion battery pack is located alongside the 37-litre fuel tank beneath the rear bench, unlike many other plug-in hybrid vehicles, in which the battery pack takes up valuable cargo space.🙂👍

    Brian, what do you think of a normal 7 speed auto gearbox in this car compared to a CVT Hybrid. Are they drastically different to drive? Which one do ya prefer more?

    • @doolanbrian
      @doolanbrian  Год назад +2

      Anything with gears is better than CVT, I totally understand that Cvt can be very economical, but I prefer the feel of gears changing in an automatic box

      @@doolanbrian I’m with ya on that one, it’s a very smart looking car as well , is it a 1.4 petrol in these?

    • @doolanbrian

      @@robertdoyle7399 1.6 afaik 🙂👍

    • @kieranh6962
      @kieranh6962 Год назад +1

      It is a 1.6 petrol run on the Atkinson cycle providing 105bhp. The remaining bhp is provided by the electric motor which combined gives the car 140bhp. The car is very quick from 0-60kph so really good at roundabouts and taking off at traffic lights. It's 0-100kph is 10 seconds so not very quick to 100kph but respectable.

    @doolanbrian Hi, I read somewhere that you can use your cell to start the motor. What would be needed to use that in Germany ?

      @@aswarchangel ha ! Ok cool .. I doubt there is a way to start this model from your ‘handy’ .. I stand to be corrected but I don’t think it’s possible .. on the full EV cars however like hyundai Kona and Kia niro , you can get an app and that allows remote start !
