Thanks, and correct, 14-tooth gears are used on both motors. Here is the complete parts list for the MK4i Swerve Module: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vRaBj1uW-xSqnnxS88V4IZ3n5IXCX9GMpIEEe9FZBd1wKFoiFfEg6jad0Z8pUEr80rSR1mQ-gjS1jYA/pubhtml?gid=0&single=true
Howdy! This year our team for FRC decided to purchase two of the MK4 and the MK4i’s. Would it be possible to put these on a rectangular chassis and still accomplish a full 360 turn without complications?
Yes, though be sure to account for the non-rectangular wheelbase/track (since the MK4i's wheel is closer to the corner of the frame) and different steering ratios.
Assembled this today with some teammates for FRC. I enjoyed how straightforward it was. Very satisfied.
Was trying to figure out what those nubs were: tool tabs, aggressive bling... Of course it ended up being something practical!
Me too, I thought they were tabs for the tooling
Can we make hybrid motor combination for this module? Like kraken for drive and neo for steering
Yes, Absolutely. Many teams do this.
@@swervedrivespecialties3827I couldn’t see the options on the website, was i wrong?
What is the gear for the falcon motor? Sounds like 14 tooth. Great video.

Is it possible to build one with a servo and a motor with equal power output?
What are the specific tools we need to assemble these?
How can you do this with neos
