@@jessecruzu considering they do not have Belgian voltage, only German, they will be put on domestic routes when the testing is complete _as far as we know_ With that being said, at the beginning of this year, they did place an order for an additional 10 units, bringing the ICNG-D fleet up to 12, so my best guess would be NS has stopped treating the thought of an Aachen IC service as a "what if".
The ones in Dresden are the same type of train set, but not the sets with German permission, but only for domestic service. These sets will soon be completed one by one and provided with a retrofit.

For a supposedly lightweight EMU these trains seem to make a hell of a lot of noise!
They are actually not that light, these are full-sized intercity trains....
And they are severely under-powered with only 3390kW of power 😱

Ah, the 3352, the first ICNG for services from/to Netherlands and Germany.
In theory, yes. However as you know there's yet to be any plans for such services.
So will these units be deployed on the Amsterdam
-Brussels route or only for domestic services until they eventually will do crossborder into germany?

Anybody knows what kind of tests are done? 3352 means a 15kV~ capable version.
