I can never get enough of watching these amazing young ladies and gentlemen perform, they are by far the best in the world. I'm always amazed at how well their sound carries too, I've seen videos where they're not even visible on camera, yet you can still hear them as if they were standing right next to it. I've tried to watch some of the other Japanese bands, but I just couldn't get into them, the music and marching was just so plain, it was like watching a funeral procession instead of a band providing entertainment for the audience. None of the other Japanese bands draw crowds any where close to the size Kyoto Tachibana gets. There are no words to describe my gratitude for all the staff, parents, and the amazing young ladies and gentlemen of this band that put in so much hard work and dedication into every performance. Of course to all those out there in the crowd recording their performances and uploading for everyone around the WORLD to enjoy, you have my utmost and heartfelt thank you. Even though there are dozens of videos, from many different people, from different sides and angles, no matter the quality of the video, I watch every single one of them.

It is always rewarding to watch videos of Kyoto Tachibana. In this, Halloween, the band's perfomance is always perfect. I also know that there is renewal of its members. It's fact. Kyoto Tachibana must be the MOST FILMED Band in Japan!!! And deservedly so. So many cameras. Thank you for the wide angle view. They draw HUGE CROWDS wherever they perform. A testament to their popularity and excellence. What’s not to like and love? 👏👏👏👏👏 This parade though looked a little disorganized with cars having to be redirected in the line of march. Yikes. But being Tachibana they took it all in stride being the pros that they are.
Totally agree!! If I want to be happy and uplifted, I get on RUclips and watch Kyoto Tachibana. If I go on TV to watch news or sports or movies or whatever, I am usually sad and/or depressed or bored. I watch Kyoto Tachibana to counteract the negativity. A dose of Kyoto Tachibana to cure and cleanse the soul so to speak and get feeling good again. Just what the doctor ordered.

The authorities must have known about the route the parade will take well in advance. After all, they are the ones who approved the parade.
Love their sound! Amazing that they can produce such quality music with all their dance movements!!! Talk about dedication!! They’ve got oodles of it!! Keep it up!!
This is an absolutely fantastic shot of the band and the crowd! WOW! All those people filming and taking pictures, incredible, but understandable.....After all, it IS Tachibana! No matter how big the crowd or how close the crowd is to them, And they ARE Close...they never skip a beat...Even the Traffic doesn't affect them. Marching in traffic is unheard of here in the US. It's considered too dangerous for the marchers here, but it doesn't seem to phase them one bit, they and the other bands I've seen from Japan seem used to it, and the drivers seem responsible. They are absolutely adorable!!!! They are so well trained to work in such tight quarters! No wonder people Love Tachibana!!!! They are truly Beautiful People! I certainly am going to miss the Seniors, or Third Graders as they're called in Japan, who will be graduating soon. I've followed their talented marching and playing since they were 1st Graders. If their skill shown as part of this band is any indication, they will be successful in any field they choose in the future. Great Job filming, as always st.taketo...Love the wide-angle filming!!!! I’ve marched with both marching band (high school, college,) drum corps, .. band director, percussion and lower brass advisors for three drum corps.. all has afforded me exposure to the 50 states USA.. I did not major in Music GJ. Unfortunately, life circumstances took me in another direction but I have had similar experience to yours in music from marching band to drum corps, etc. Maybe not to the extent you have but I think we agree, with our combined experiences, this Band, this group of guys and girls are the BEST of the BEST. Bands, Drum Corps and other groups strive to be the Best and achieve varying degrees of it but only Kyoto Tachibana has formed the 'IDEAL' combination of talent, musicianship, energy, entertainment, solid sound, fantastic musical arrangements, choreography and 'Heart'. IMHO - NO ONE comes close to this group of outstanding musicians. NO ONE.
Mr. K I just received some very disappointing news.. they won’t be appearing in the Rose Bowl parade 2019😭.. to say I’m disappointed is putting it lightly...
GJ - Are you saying Rose Bowl Parade 2019? Because it's been known that the All Izumo Honor Band will be marching in the 2019 parade and not KT. The overseas trips for KT (my understanding) are payed for mostly by the parents of the students so these trips are few and far between to minimize the financial impact on the parents. The next time we can expect to see them in the Rose Parade will be 2024 unless something extraordinary happens. As fanatical Fans as we are and being in countries outside of Japan, we live with this long distance relationship with this Band and that comes with disappointment from time to time which includes not being able to see them at certain events including the Rose Parade and the All Japan National Finals. I wish they would perform every weekend so we could watch their videos every weekend but being a High School Club activity, Band is secondary to their education. And so is life living with our beloved Kyoto Tachibana. I've said before, if I haven't kicked the bucket yet or disabled in some way, I plan to be at their next Rose Parade appearance. Guaranteed. My bucket list item.

しかし、運営の不馴れ感が凄いですね。さくらの運営が凄く感じる。
でもね、一所懸命にイベントと橘のパレードを守ろうとする姿は、ハナマルです！！
長く続いて、多くのお子様達に、こんなに楽しい物がある事を伝えって言ってほしいです。
今回このイベント主催者の方々、橘の集客力の凄さを痛感させられたのではないでしょうか。
終始対応するのに困惑されてた様子が伺えます。
橘のオレンジとハロウィンとの相性がよいので、主催者の方々は今回の教訓を活かしてよりよいパレードとなるような企画を立てて、次回以降に繋げていただきたいなと思います。

運営批判もありましたが、次回に繋げるためにも無事に終わることが出来たのが一番です。
誰とは言いませんが車道に出てる青い服のオッサン、ステージでも最前列なのに後ろの人の事を考えず、立ち上がって写真撮っていましたね。他にも係員の誘導に従わず、観客と生徒達の間に入って先を急ぐ撮影者の多い事。何処の自治体もイベントの係員に余裕がある訳じゃないんだから、運営に文句言う前にこんな人達を何とかしないと、橘呼ぶと手が掛かって大変だから呼ばないって事にもなりかねませんよね。撮影自由もそろそろ限界なのかなとも思ってしまいます。

最初は橘高校の教師だと思ってました
そうですね、いずれ場所取り合戦等で暴力事件や事故等々起きるのが目に見えてます
ただ、撮影者も個人個人は橘の善良なファン、締め出すのもなぁとも思います
もう日本の狭い道や商店街のパレードは限界なのでしょうね
パレードにこだわらず演奏会と言う形でご招待するのが最善ではないでしょうか

あのオッサンは、ある意味有名な方だったんですね。知りませんでした。
今回クサツハロウィンで初めて生でパレードを観て、いつもお世話になっているst.taketoさんをはじめ、常連撮影者の方々も見る機会があったのですが、皆さん邪魔にならない様に基本観客の後ろからすり抜けている事に感心しました。それなのに肝心な所はちゃんと撮れているんですよね。私なんか邪魔にならない様にと電信柱の後ろとか、階段の上からとかしか撮れませんでしたから、映っているのは殆ど人の頭でしたが。
ステージでの演奏待ちの間も、不必要に広いスペースを占拠する事も無く、皆さん静かに待っていらっしゃって、こんな人達だからこそあれ程の映像が撮れるんだなぁと今更ながら気付きました。
長々とすみません。
余りにも目に余る人達が多かったものでつい。

撮影隊の中には自分勝手だなーと思う人も居るし、橘サイドの人も高圧的な言い方をする時も多いし、そのうちなんらかのトラブルは起きるでしょうね。

いや、知らない人ですよ。
広報の方だとしたらステージでの事は仕方無いかも知れませんが（そう言えば、演奏後も拍手すらしていないですよね）、それでも公道で車道を歩いて撮影するのは許される事では無いと思います。係員に追い返されていますから、許可を取っているとも思えませんし。
そろそろ何か対策しないととは思うんですが、残念ながら私には思い付きません。
いずれにせよ、生徒達の頑張りに関係ない所で出て来る問題ばかりなので悲しいですね。
一番後ろの坊主頭くんは有力者の子供とかなの？小学生くらいに見えるし、楽器もできそうには見えないし、「オレンジのユニフォーム着て僕も歩きたいって言っているんだが何とかならんかね」って感じなのかなぁ？
一応ちゃんとした部員です。遅れて入ってきたらしいので修行中なんでしょう。デビューまで温かく見守ってあげてください(^_^;)
今年のブルーメの丘でのパレードは、後ろから一年生の皆さんと部員として歩いてますよ。ケガをしているため後ろを歩いているわけですよ。今年の京セラドームの3000人の吹奏楽では、パーカス隊としてデビューしています。
運営にヒヤヒヤです警察の協力を得られなかったのでしょうか？
