That's not really far fetched though.
Optimus was outplaying megatron in that fight with skill, but he still did almost no damage despite the many hits he landed.
That was the whole original cartoon 😂. Till Optimus’s death. And it continued with Rodimus negation gettin his ass whipped 😂
This trilogy was my childhood. Optimus saying "Lets roll" made me scream as a kid. Micheal Bay deserve a big props for making these movies

I think the CG holds up so well cause it can do metal so realistically these movies do genuinely look amazing still to this day
In my head it makes me think of the og power rangers movie, my childhood memory of the shiny robots says it looks the same (but I bet if I went back it would look awful lmao)
One thing I noticed about Optimus is before he was killed he almost always fought to injure and not kill but I think that Megatron saying “your so weak” really changed Optimus, he grew more violent and less merciful.
Bella is such a gorgeous, chatty girl!!! She may be a spoiled mama, but she's obviously in a great home and feels comfortable complaining lol!

you can tell that dog is well loved. their eyes tend to fog up when they dont get any attention or love or play for a long time. they can also clear up and focus over time with enough love

Well, considering that Jetfire is a Blackbird, his parts should only be a few decades old at most. But, it's more than likely that he changed forms over the decades in order to blend in but hasn't actually moved since then.
Not to mention his Energon levels are very low. If he was in Transformers Prime, he would stay at base with Ratchet along with Que (Rise of the Beasts to Dark of the Moon Autobot) (I'm not calling Wheeljack cause he looks nothing like the Bumblebee movie version to Prime version).
First of all.. Chiefs! Second, you and the pup are bonding so well. I treat my Labrador like a smart 5 year old and everyone I know is jealous of how well behaved she is because of that. The best tips I can give are to always imagine what your dog is doing when you're gone and don't call their name when they do something wrong, use a sound or no instead. Sometimes their name comes with rewards so it can get confusing.

Annnyway, when setting up peoples' new home theater systems I used this movie if _Cars_ wasn't with me at the time. Terrific for getting the highs right (especially the shard stealing scene) mids (explosions) and lows (Peter Cullen's voice alone!)... if the owner had a subwoofer. Only thing really bad about this movie is we didn't get to see a whole lot of Devastator. =\
(read: "Too powerful to live" trope)
I don't care which incarnation it is, I hate when I have to watch Optimus die. He's my number one favorite Transformer.
Peter Cullen - what a LEGEND; Awesome as Optimus Prime and so many other voice roles including K.A.R.R. on Knight Rider, Venger on Dungeons & Dragons, Thirty/Thirty on Bravestarr and Eeyore on Winnie the Pooh, and surprisingly the 'voice' (purring noise) of the alien in Predator

I found the first half of this movie kind of boring but when the chase scene and the forest fight Optimus happened I was hooked, I loved this movie.

fun fact about the explosion at @ 44:15 (i assume its that one at least) The massive air strike in Operation Firestorm was caused by a 1,000-gallon gasoline bomb. Special effects supervisor John Frazier spent seven months setting it up, longer than it took to shoot the whole film. The bomb made the Guinness Book of World Records as the biggest bomb ever filmed with actors close by.

I love me some John Turturro what a great actor. Was fortunate enough to see him live in a play in NYC back in my college days... Waiting for Godot... One of the 3 actors i have met in person and talked to. Great actor and professional but an even greater man.

Best thing about this movie, Devastator(the giant robot made of construction shit) caused two computers to explode and delay the movie for a bit. It was considered the most advanced cgi construction at that time. No idea if anything has dethroned it or not but 🤷♂️

Also, remember that Sam's ancestor didn't even touch the cube and his mind went bye bye. He only got a fraction of what Megatron interacted with. Sam touched it directly. As for why it didn't react in the first movie?? That IS strange. I mean it still had an affect on technology while he was running with it, after he hit the car it zapped the car, the microwave and the vending machine. Maybe it affected Sam because it was broken?? I still don't understand how it works entirely.
Plot hole. Plus using the entire cube, which is raw energy, would've fucked over the entire city. It's better explained in the animated shows.
I would think of it more as kind of like a static shock nobody had touched it since the moment that it broke apart and it fell into his sweater so maybe it had a whole bunch of energy stored up in such a small little area
