Bold Hold Silicone so much safer than any acrylic glue to give you a 4-6 week hold.
The Silicone component adhesive is very easy to use with practice. First time users we suggest you do a small test on the back of your hand to learn how to control the glue, keeping it thin, flat and neat. We also suggest you use a test piece of lace on hand. Practice makes perfect!
1. Use on clean skin(NEVER USE ALCOHOL TO CLEAN THE SKIN) use facial wash or makeup wipes.
2. Next, Always use Bold Hold Skin Protect. Do 1-2 layers
3. Apply one layer of the Bold Hold Silicone Maxx thin layer, make sure you do not have any lumps, do not constantly swipe the glue since silicone dries fast. Takes 3-4 min to dry for proper EVEN layer.
4. Apply your lace, Do not Press the lace into the glue, blow dry with cool air for 5/10 min. Until you do not feel any sticky on top of the lace. Do not tie down with elastic band use satin scarf only for Silicone to prevent sticking.
5. Style as desired ✌🏽❤️

😂 That brush is not helpful but using a spatula really works. The skin protect definitely blocks oil and sweat from causing the hair unit to lift. Tip: The skin protectant has to dry completely before applying the adhesives for the best and easiest adhesive application. ❤💯💕💙😊

I used micellar water to clean, dabbed on the skin protectant, then two light layers of bold hold maxx. I used a satin scarf to tie down the lace.
12 hours later, my lace on my forehead is lifting. 😳

You are so right! I threw my old hold max away because after one use I took out the brush top like you said & I thought I had ruined the contents by switching the top from the brush to a pour spout which I’d twist open & close … of course that didn’t work and . It started to look cloudy and whir instead of clear. in the container and just wouldn’t really adhere on CLEAR no more. The bole reloaded is good but my dermatologist thinks it is was causing my eyes allergic reaction. Is there a way we can purchase bold hold active unloaded without the lemon or any scent?

Relatively new to lace wigs. Working on a five by five closure right now. Can you tell me how far should the lace Go down your Forehead? Mine seems excessively long after doing some Tweezing. The lace was pretty cut and is right right to the cap no extra lace.

I have a small forehead … the tape is what i have the problem with applying on the cap … seem like the tape balls up when i take the strip off …
If you pull the tape of with tweezers in the middle it’s easier to come off
I have a three head😂 not a forehead. It's thin and fine hair I have the regular boldhold and it's not holding. I love the texture of bold hold over the others.
Hello! Thank you for this video. I really need help with getting the glue to hold at the nape area. The bold hold active has not been holding it down. I do use the Bold Hold Skin Protectant. Also, does the Hold Hold Maxx cause break-outs? I am thinking it requires the Bold Hold protectant to prevent this issue. I have not tried silicone adhesives. Appreciate any feedback you can give. hi iji have been watching you all evening for the first time...i did my first install fro the first time i got the wig fron amazon and i am not happy the wig was to big for my head i have a small head i watched someone else cut the wig on a customer because the the wig was too big i did it and cut to much i have alapecha icame home from work doing my hair my first install and im not happy with it i got off at 3 and didnt get done til 8 i am so dissapointed in myself i been doing my hair all my life on my own im a braider i love wigs i need help please and thank you

Do you have any tips for when the cut lace edges start to fray?
Hd lace is going to fray since it’s thin. Hd is more maintenance, and may have to be changed sooner than Swiss but most realistic.

The tape!!!! Listen, I have tried most products out there except the bold hold maxx(that's next). My wig has slid, not held down for the week etc. I sweat heavy and workout hard. But this tape, my wig has not moved. It's been 90°+ where I'm at and I've been outside. I did one layer of the adhesive, let it dry clear. I laid the tape on top of the adhesive. Before removing the paper adjust your wig one final time to ensure it's in the right place. Roll the lace back, remove the paper with tweezers and place your hair. Press the hair into, blow dry on cool 3-5 minutes, and then place your melt band for 10-12 minutes minimum. Remove the band, cut the lace if not done previously, lay down the ear tabs if they didn't stick and style per usual.
