Looks good!! I'm about to pour pilaster forms just like you have done, but I've followed the instructions in a general carpentry book which called for wales or wooden 2X4 bracing around the form at several heights. i wasn't sure they were necessary, but now I know for sure that they are! Thanks for the video, good to know how it's done, Grandpa's barn will be reinforced and no longer in danger of collapse. 🏠
Ok I know nothing about concrete lmfao I was waiting for it to explode or something but I wanted to say You go Sean! 😂🤣 Your RUclips channel seems to do pretty well! So cool!
I personally do atleast 3 rows of log cabined 2x4 and a vertical 4x4 in the center of the form on each side and put 3 braces off the 4x4 at the same height as the horizontal 2x4s with a plywood cleat nailed on the 4x4 just above the brace so the brace doesn't push up and loosens. Well we get our forms vibrated like crazy so we over build them. Sorry if I wrote it kind of confusing but I imagine you get what I mean. Good work brother
Those pillars will outlast that wall for sure. Good job 👍
I saw the corner bead in those forms, nice touch
