I can’t get my slide to open all the way, came to this video because I thought standard method would work which it didn’t. My standard method is exactly what’s described in the video but I still can’t get my slide to release all the way forward after initial pull of the trigger after holding slide back and tabs down
What happens if oil accidently goes down into the striker channel?? Cleaned my 43x at the range owner gave me WD40 to clean my glock with not sure if I got some into striker channel
Definitely try the mag. I’ve put 600 rds through my 43x and I must say I’ve have not had 1 jam or feed issues. This is my 1st Glock. Very impressed. Good luck bro.
My usual practice when buying a new gun is to strip it and clean and lube it prior to taking it out. Sometimes the factory grease is more of a preservative and may cause hang ups. Once you have done that, let us know if it made any difference. Thanks for supporting our channel!
Yes, think about it like a car. Keeping it cleaned and lubed will improve its function. If it keeps happening after your clean and lube it, perhaps try different ammo. After that, I would contact Glock customer support if the issue is not resolved. Hope this helps and thanks for supporting our channel!
For some reason when i take down my 43x the recoil spring is loose and sitting just above the little notch its supposed to be seated in .any reason why
Take your Glock or any other handgun and disasemble it per the owners manual for cleaning. Get a tub and fill it with Hoppe's so that the when you place the gun in the tub it's submerged. Allow the parts to soak for 10 or 15 minutes. Take your common leaf blower and secure it in some fashion. I have a cheap Black&Decker that I put in my vice on my work bench. Blow the heck out of the various parts until no more cleaning fluid emerges from the frame etc. Inspect, lube, check for operabilty and you are done. Been doing this for decades with zero issues...
best video of a glock 43x cleaning I have ever seen. Very straight forward and informative. Thank you!

Make sure you pull the trigger to release the slide (after checking for empty and in a safe direction) enjoy the firearm!
Same 😒 hate this part

I just cleaned my 43x and now when I put my 10 rn mag in, it doesn’t feed right until I get down until the last 4 bullets. Any suggestions ?
Try a new mag

Switch to the shield arms mags n metal mag release
@@justrickeyy616no.
500 rounds in mine still smooth. Need to clean it now.🎉
should a lube a brand new Glock?
I always do regardless of what brand of gun. Helps avoid any break in issues that might pop up. They usually have factory grease to clean out also
I just got a 43x from the store yesterday and it wont even feed a single bullet with the 10 round mag the bullet gets hung up on the feed ramp

Mine works perfect straight from the store
You must have got a bad unit. Mine has worked flawlessly for the past year. I shoot nearly weekly, 50+ rounds per outing.
My Glock 43x keep jamming 2nd time using it..should I clean it should I oil it?

it could be the rounds you are firing. I had my glock .40 jam with steel cased bullets.
Great little firearm.
For some reason when i take down my 43x the recoil spring is loose and sitting just above the little notch its supposed to be seated in .any reason why
Mines the same way
@@Jcaudle43 does yours still function properly?
@@dnice.757 yes it functions fine but when I go to take it apart the guide rod is always loose and falls out when I take off the slide.
@Jcaudle43 I'm giving glock a call tomorrow to see what they say about it
@@dnice.757 and I know I’m putting it together right this isn’t my first pew pew. If you find anything out comment back.
Nothing new for me, but good to have my cleaning method validated. I use different cleaning products but the same procedures.
Do you wash bore afterwards?

Make a video
The whole gun or just the slide and barrel?
people not getting the joke makes this more funny
🤣🤣🤣
Clean your weapon according to the manual. That simple. If you need to google manual for a used weapon.
First time doing it like this & it was successful thanks bruddha 😎
Glad it worked for you. Thanks for supporting our channel!

Great video...your accent..is it a South African twinge? Lekker man
CLP is supertoxic. Takes ventilation and gloves !!!!
what? no? treat it like any cleaning solution and dont spray it directly into your mouth and you wont have any issues
Or use froglube, all of their stuff is safe for you AND your gun
Did you move to the usa
We are in the US at the moment. Unclear if it will be permanent
No offense what accent is that
Are you ex South African? 😜
