    Hey buddy. I have a patriot as well. 2015, have 170,000 on the clock now. I had the RC lift kit with struts and it was crap. To everyone out there, do NOT buy the rough country strut lift. As for the 4x4 vs. front drive, don't matter really. Run what cha brung and enjoy the patriot. We are moving to the 1.5 daystar. You can run 235/70/16 with spacers, which we have on ours. Your bearings etc are fine with 1.25 inch spacers. Keep going with the patriot! Great rig. You have a great rig.

      Hey Steve. My last Patriot had the RC lift also and it had some vibration issues on the front caused by the lift. I was never really able to resolve it. I currently have the daystar 1.5 lift and it still vibrates slightly on the front but not near as bad. For the most part they are built about the same throughout the different companies. At least in my experience. I did do some digging and usually what causes it is your cv axle joints are only able to flex so much before it causes heavy wear and tear or vibration during acceleration. Of all places, Napa has upgraded cv axles that can handle the lift kits and heavy offroad use for a very affordable price. I have not let purchased them but i plan to shortly. When i do I will make a video on how to install them. I hope this helps lads, and thank you for the compliments Steve. GOD BLESS!!

      @@michaelmorr4403 I think that the spacer lift would be better, I had the spring and strut kit thinking it would be better. Mine never had a vibration issue, We had a violent clunk when the struts would top out. It was so bad that we had to remove them within a week and a half of being installed. IT was horrible.

      I would only use this lift kit if you have a FWD as I do. Rough Country in my opinion is the best option for the Patriot for lift kits but they only make them for 4WD.

    Thats Good4 Your Needs Thats What Counts, i' Wonder if 225/75/16" Tires fit This, & maybe Air Shocks in Rear CouLd Add; Another 1.5" ?

    • @michaelmorr4403
      @michaelmorr4403  11 месяцев назад +1

      You have to be careful on how much lift you add because the Jeep Patriot does not respond to being lifted too high. I would love to install new rims with more negative offset so i can use 31 or 32" tires.

  • @Lost-Orbz
    @Lost-Orbz 11 месяцев назад +1

    OMG this is what I need!! Thanks!! Also what's the largest tires that can fit using stock rims without rubbing?? I see that Cooper Discoverer 235/70R16 AT is $98 at Walmart atm. Should I get those??

    • @michaelmorr4403
      @michaelmorr4403  11 месяцев назад

      It really matters if you are willing to modify your Jeep or not because if you go any larger than a 235/70 size tires you will need spacers or rim with more negative offset to clear your struts. You will also have to modify a weld that is on your fender. I love my Cooper a/t tires. They out perform my old Falken a/T. I have never used the discoverer tires for any offroading

    • @SouthSideRiot
      @SouthSideRiot Месяц назад

      That’s what I went with. Tires do rub when making sharp turns.

    Where did you install your winch at? I'm planning to get one but couldn't find a good one. Can you hit me up with the link on where u got the mount

    • @michaelmorr4403
      @michaelmorr4403  2 месяца назад +1

      I removed the original bumper and reinforced it with 1/4 steel along with the basic mount that came with it. It is all welded on. I then remounted the front bumper which is attached with 4 bolts on each side. I then welded the bumper onto the frame and welded more 1/4" steel from the frame onto the bumper. The market for winch mounts for the Patriot is almost non-existent unless you want to spend several hundred dollars or have a custom front bumper made. I hope this helps!!!
