My dad was a Protestant and my mum Brahmin. My parents broke their marriage when I was 7. When I was 23 I got married to a Roman Catholic. When I was pregnant my mother denied helping me with delivery and other things. I am a mother of 2 daughters today and I can profess that in all my life it is Jesus who held my hand and come so far. Till today I believe I am alive and in a fruitful marriage because I have surrendered everything to him and he takes care of us. Jesus is Lord and GOD

Amazing ,just loved to hear your testimony dear Christina .Our God is really awesome,living and loving.Nobody can compared to the love that Christ has for us.
I am also born in a Hindu Telugu brahmin community and I have been through a lot of life’s events that made me think if I am religiously following the right path .. Mohini’s testimony is something I accidentally have come across and I really felt soo consoled and close to Jesus more than ever .. have studied in convent school , did my masters in a Christian college and have many friends from Christianity yet I never thought abt thinking abt surrendering my life to Jesus .. but her testimony seems like I should start paying attention to lord Jesus’s word and to listen to what he z trying to say through my life’s events .. I would like to request here anyone if they could help me with this from their own experiences in life that brought them close to the lord .. even though I am able to understand I need to take my call by being surrounded by people from a brahmin community I find it hard to make a decision n open up to my family that may be I found my consolation in Jesus openly .. could someone please help me out ..

You are right Jesus is the reason for our salvation, but we cannot forget our Almighty God Jah. Jesus was fulfilling his fathers wish to save us from sinful nature and to reinstate a relationship with Jesus .
The whole world has to remember Fathers name that is Yahovah exodus 3:15,16- Psalms 83:18, isaiah 42:8. Please check friends irs very imp. Joel 2:32, acts 2:21 LORD IS Yahovah. Translators has changed it. Because satan is the arch enemy of Almighty Jah, so he does not want worship to be given to the creator Jah. Jesus was also with Jah during creation. Read john 6:38, micah 5:2 . John 17:4,5.
In all these we see that Jesus the son of GOD is a god like how we say son of MAN is man. So the Son of God was the first born or the begotten son what do you mean by first born? Check deuteronomy 21:17 , it defines as the beginning of ones generative power. So Jesus is a god who was Almighties first creation before the creation of all beings. So that does not mean we are looking less on Jesus. Jesus was the chief architect and he know everything as we would as a man associate with his father. So Jesus the son of God , came into the earth to fulfill his fathers wish to re establish the relationship with Yahovah our God jesus is the promised messiah or the promised seed foretold by the prophets. What is messiah meanind ? Christ which means annointed. Annointed in the old testaments means to be Anointing was the principal and divinely-appointed ceremony in the inauguration of the Jewish Kings. So annointing means the spirit of LORD or Jah is poured out to the annointed. Thats is why Jesus reads in luke 4:28 . He was reading isaiah 61:The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because yahovah has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound (Isaiah 61:1) so we understand that It was Yahovah Gods purpose to save the whole mankind out of sins , where jesus our master fulfilled. That's why he says I have come to do my fathers will i. John 6:38. So friends through Jesus our saviour god we have to call upon yahovah our almighty to answer oyr prayers. That is why Jesus has told to how to pray, remember the first statement in lords prayer. Our father in heaven, your name be sanctified. that is Yahovah name is to be glorified by the whole world.
Exactly is all about thirst for God and have a close relationship with Him.

I felt so filled with joy. As I walked along the streets, I used to pray to Jesus. Oh Lord how these people would love you if they only knew you. A rich harvest awaits you my Lord Jesus. This testimony really blessed me ,i remember growing up watching her movies. I also had a very similar story, Coming from hindu background and getting a vision of Christ. Yes i got saved in a catholic church, and i have tremendous respect for them and what they do, only very few percentage charismatic catholics live as per the bible. Its a personal journey, Christ led me to non -denominational church, where i truly understood the bible in much deeper way. Am not trying to persuade anyone to go to any church, as far as they are in Christ, He will lead them to the right place in His Kindom. Blessings!

That is the reason why I will never leave the catholic church, we do not pretend we live as the bible says, we are humans, weak and always sin, but we try every day to be better. Our conversion is not a one day process, our conversion is every day until we died. YOU SAW them living with the guilt of committing crimes to the heart. YOU SAW them enduring personal crisis. YOU SAW the weight of the burden on their hearts with each tribulation. YOU SAW them seeking comfort from the above mentioned topography, ONE OF THE MANY MARVELS YOUR PERFECT HANDS HAVE MADE. 👏👏👏 YOU SAW their worries about tomorrow.
If their hearts were a window that they could look through, oh the pains and scars they would see. What a cruel fate the skin gives as a mask to the inward pain. But the skin couldn’t cover THE SUFFERING YOUR ONE AND ONLY SON BORED on the cross as PAYMENT for all our sins because HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ALONE HAD THE MERIT TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF YOUR HOLINESS. Indeed, ONLY HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS IS SUFFICIENT TO SAVE us from this present evil world as evidenced by Mary's song of praise. They have seen a lot of crazy things done in YOUR NAME. For example, the father of lies futile attempts to make crooked the right ways of the LORD to turn people away from faith in the WORKS OF JESUS CHRIST ALONE. How can anyone bear the thought of his or her life story detracting from the GLORY AND HONOR KNOWN TO BELONG TO CHRIST ALONE? As a consequence, YOU ARE A MYSTERY OF GREAT MYSTERY to them. Despite this conviction, YOU ARE MINDFUL of them as evidenced by the fact that YOUR JUDGEMENT is not speedy, allowing them to pursue the desires of the flesh.
They are aware of hypocrisy in religious assemblies that like to be seen and heard. In addition, secular education teaches that there is no right and wrong, if GOD exists there is no way of relating to HIM, and moral standards shift according to the whims of fashion. Therefore, their minds are conditioned to question everything this world has to offer including “THY POWER THROUGHOUT THE UNIVERSE DISPLAYED.” They have accepted the heavy burden of dealing with the troubles of this life and seeks to know another way, YOU THE GREAT COMFORTER TO ALL who did receive YOU as their personal SAVIOR. Still, YOU have shown them NEW MERCY every day with each thought they make and each breath they take.
Unfortunately, like the prodigal son, we are all guilty of wandering far from YOU LORD because the negative experiences of our lives tend to build roadblocks to the TRUTH. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them to identify the way, truth, and eternal life (that is YOU). Since to know and follow your SPIRIT is more exciting than any 007 movie, and YOU DELIGHT MAKING the ordinary into extraordinary. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST MAKE them understand that there is no way around YOUR TRUTH, and that there is something about YOUR NAME. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them defeat in their minds what is false in YOUR EYES.
LORD GUIDE their thoughts to know that the path of sin is hard on their hearts for the purpose of crying out to YOU to know the joy, peace of having the heavy burden LIFTED by THE GOD OF PEACE I AM, and ANCHOR their souls in THE HAVEN OF REST. In other words, LORD use the storms in their lives to get a hold of them to trust YOU and believe. In truth, YOU ARE THE JOY that seekest them through pain.
LORD HELP their fainting hearts to believe that YOU, who was slain on the cross over 2000 years ago has the POWER TO CHANGE lives today through the INSTANTANEOUS GREAT FAVOR from GOD to the house of Israel made known in believers by YOU to make YOUR NAME EVERLASTING. 🥰 For as the statue liberates the citizens so the cross liberates the soul. ONLY YOU can calm the trouble waters of the mind when one admits to wanting salvation from one’s sinful nature, JESUS IS LORD, and believes in the heart that GOD RAISED HIM from the dead TO LIFT the heavy burden of sin's guilt away from the heart in accordance to YOUR WORD found in Psalm 51:1-10 KJV. 👏👏👏👏👏👏 O, the wonder of it all to experience within the flesh the feeling of a tree being cut back/pruned inorder for it to grow stronger and more beautiful after meditating on the words of said Psalm. 🥰🙌
LORD MAKE them know that ONLY YOUR HOLY SPIRIT, through the experience of a new birth within believers, can prevent the family circle from being broken because THE HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE YOU HAVE GRANTED means a chapter of their lives is decided. Creation sings the rebirth song for them yearly, through YOUR PROMISE of springtime, giving rise to the idea that by the mention of YOUR NAME flowers grow, and the desert blooms again. 🥰
LORD GUIDE their understanding of words to use to come into YOUR PRESENCE with an honest reverence of WHO YOU ARE to experience the beauty that time can't erase YOUR WISDOM resting on their faces. LORD STRENGTHEN their determination to never waiver in efforts to search for YOU because the wages of sin is too high for anyone to pay. Additionally, THE KING OF KINGS is needed in their hearts to learn how to expand their capacity to love for YOU are LOVE in any language. 🥰 Once they learn to speak it with boldness through YOUR WONDERFUL COUNSELING all the world will hear, and know that LOVE is the language of their hearts. So LORD, KEEP KNOCKING on their doors until they let YOU in to know hardships and struggles will end with a GREAT CELEBRATION WITH YOU. 🥰🙌
If one believes faith cannot be forced, YOU WILL GIVE that individual over to the stubborn heart to follow own counsel which will surely fail him or her to the extent that the punishment will last forever found in Psalms 81 NIV. Given this, I pray that YOU WILL MAKE that person see that this feeling is wasted for a world in which we become strangers as we age, gives us thrills instead of peace, aims to solve a problem but creates another, and unrest surges with each passing generation. Shed some light into their broken hearts for YOU ARE THE GREAT JEHOVAH, THE GOD THAT HEALETH thee.
Lastly, LORD when they call on YOU in earnest prayer to come into their hearts to be born again (repentance manifesting itself in a changed life), I pray that YOU WILL GIVE them the blessed assurance of their salvation because nothing breaks YOUR HEART, or tears YOU apart like when they cry from the trials of the devil who comes to slander, falsely accuse, steal, kill & destroy. Only by drawing nearer to YOU LORD will put them on a path to a glorious one way trip winding upward to YOU where pain is not welcome because the heart will never break anymore. For ONLY YOU UNDERSTANDS our tears since YOU LOOK at the heart, while humans look at the flesh.
O LOVE that will not let them go. When they don't have the strength to try, and have cried all they can cry hear their hearts that need YOU more today than yesterday. Many thanks LORD for speaking TRUTH in our lives TO BLESS those who are not offended by THEE. LET YOUR WILL BE DONE because YOUR LOVE ALONE CONQUERS everything by WAITING for them to cease struggling, and finally surrender to YOUR EMBRACE to learn about YOUR LOVE AND PROMISE TO TAKE CARE of your children exquisitely. 🥰 Since... Why do Catholics keep mother Mary next to Jesus all the time.? Does mother Mary contribute to salvation of mankind? How is mother Mary equal to Jesus band deserving of adoration? How is Rosary biblical? Aren't erecting statues or images and bowing before them prohibited in bible?

@@aparnachegu3475 I am saved by amazing grace. I came to know Christ almost 6 years back, Jesus found me in the midst of darkness and took me out of pit of sins, removed my shame, guilt and darkness. Although I drifted apart from Jesus several times till then, I always took Him for granted, I still do, I find it hard to always cling on the cross but no matter what Jesus has never left me.. Despite of everything, He has been so faithful till now.. I want to live God with all my heart but I don't know how to.. I still have many confusions and questions about the various denominations in Christianity, why they blame each other, which teachings are right which are wrong and all that.. It really shakes my faith.. But through the comments on this video and through your comment, God is telling me to just trust Him and love Him and follow only Jesus Christ ,,not any pastor or any denomination. Even though I don't know what is my calling or why God still wants me to live, I believe He has plans for me.. I am inspired by your testimony. I am a cradle catholic and took my Catholicism for granted. I turned my back on the Catholic faith when my marriage broke up. I blamed God for the break up of my family and left the church. It left a void in my heart and started searching trying one religion after the other, but it never filled the void until our Lord, the Good Shepherd found me and brought me back to His flock. It is the Holy Eucharist, the true flesh and blood of Jesus Christ that was missing in my wandering off from the one true church. I was the prodigal daughter that was welcomed back by our Heavenly Father who was eagerly waiting for His son Jesus to find and bring me home.

Example: When Jesus and his mother were at the wedding at Cana and the wedding people ran out of wine, Mary approached Jesus and said “Son they have run out of wine” and Jesus replied, "Woman, what has this to do with me? My hour has not yet come." His mother then said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you" (John 2:3-5). Jesus ordered the servants to fill containers with water and to draw out some and take it to the chief steward waiter. After tasting it, without knowing where it came from, the steward remarked to the bridegroom that he had departed from the custom of serving the best wine first by serving it last (John 2:6-10). John adds that: "Jesus did this, the first of his signs, in Cana of Galilee, and it revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him" (John 2:11).
Basically; even though Jesus was reluctant to do what he was asked, he went ahead and did what his mother asked of him anyway, therefore, his weakness is his mother’s request; Mary asked for Jesus to perform a miracle on behalf of the bridal party and he did it. So if Mary asks Jesus for something on our behalf, do you think he will deny her? He might say no at first but! He’ll give in to her.
He might say no to us, but! He won’t, not do, what his mother asks of him, therefore; just ask Mary (his mother) to ask him our behalf and it will be granted.
Aramaic (the language spoken by Jesus and his apostles,) had no word for “cousin,” so cousins and other close relatives were often referred to as brothers.
The brothers and sisters that they said were actually Jesus' cousins by Joseph's brother (Clopas) . you will notice on the cross Jesus gave his mother to John to care for as his own mother. “Don't you think if she had other children they would have taken care of her” He would have had surviving siblings who would have taken care of her. It would be surprising for Jesus to release his brothers from their obligation to their mother, especially because he criticized the Pharisees for neglecting the support of their own parents in Matthew 15:3-6.
Oh and Mary was a common name, so guess what, her sister in law had the same first name.
John 19:25 New International Version (NIV)
25 Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.
Mary was dedicated before her birth to serve the Lord in the temple, as Samuel had been dedicated by his mother (1 Sam. 1:11). This required perpetual virginity of Mary so that she could completely devote herself to the service of the Lord.
Joseph was a male protector who would respect her vow of virginity. When Mary conceived, Joseph had to answer to the temple authorities. So Mary’s betrothal to Joseph was not in conflict with her vow of virginity.
When the angel Gabriel tells Mary that she will bear a son, Mary asks, “How shall this be, since I have no husband?” (Luke 1:34). At this point, Mary was engaged to Joseph. Why would she then be so surprised at being told she would conceive? If she were planning on having children with Joseph in the usual way, it wouldn’t make sense for her to ask how she would be able to have a child. This question makes sense only if Mary was already planning to remain a virgin.
The firstborn was to be consecrated to the Lord (Ex. 13:2); the parents were to redeem every firstborn son (Ex. 34:20). They weren’t supposed to wait until they had a second child to redeem the firstborn, and so the first son born to a woman was called the firstborn regardless of whether or not she had other children later on.
Mary’s perpetual virginity demonstrates her purity of heart and total love for God.
Mary’s virginity was “so great an example of material virtue” because it demonstrated her total devotion to Jesus. In Mary, we see an example of the purity our own hearts must have in total dedication to God. Her virginity also tells us something about the Church, which, like Mary, is both mother to the faithful and “pure bride to her one husband” (2 Cor. 11:2).

It is an amazing testimony, I couldn't watch it without having tears in my eyes especially I have a friend who is experiencing a similar situation. I should pray for her more that one day she will receive Holy Communion and adore Jesus presence in it. I will wait for that day. It had more things to talk to me as well. It’s a small ex mining village in Country Durham, near Newcastle (North East) The film Billy Elliot was filmed there if you’ve seen it you’ve probably got some idea of what it’s like. We recently had Easington’s Catholic Church demolished unfortunately. There are a lot of good Catholics based in the North East, St Bede and St Cuthbert are both buried in Durham Cathedral. Alas it was taken from us during the dissolution of the monasteries. I live in Ryhope now in Sunderland. We actually have two Indian Priests serving our Parish, St Patrick’s, and few other Parishes near. Fr. Ligori Alexander OCD and Fr. Louis Aroon OCD are both Indian, I think they are discalced Carmelites order. They are holy and great Priests! There’s nothing they wouldn’t do to help you, we are proud to have them. It must be hard for them not being able to visit there families at the moment.

Well I was a Christian who became Hindu. Well, Vaisnavism to be exact, which is beyond all religious affiliations. People call themselves Hindu when they don't even know what Hinduism. They have never read authentic scriptures like the Bhagavad-Gita or even listen to learned teachers. They are only used to dogmatism which they have heard from their grandmothers or some head village men. Nonetheless, unless there is a real understanding of who we are, why we are in this world, what is the real purpose of life, who is God, do we have relationship with Him, what is that relationship, and how do we cultivate such relationships? Then being member of a particular religion, be it Christianity, Islam or Hinduism, have no value. Thats what makes difference between the philosophy of the Bhagavad-Gita and other religious texts. You get all the answers. Anyway, real religion is to understand who we are, who is God and what is our relationship with Him. God is full of love. We are spiritual beings, that is eternal. We are eternally part of God. We are in this world because we forgot our relationship with God. But that relationship can be revived. Thats the philosophy of God which is the topmost of any other philosophy. Bhagavad-gita means Song of God, as it was vibrated by God Himself to His dear devotee. In the Bhagavad-Gita, there is no such a thing as eternal hell. God is not a cruel person that for the sin you committed in one lifetime, then you will suffer eternal damnation. That is not God. That is God of the barbarians. God is full of love.

There is no denominations when you follow Christ, we are to follow him not denominations. Jesus never said to follow a particular denomination. He said pick up your cross and follow him.

Christian missionaries had and have been doing a lot of conversions in India. They are sending a lot of scriptures and pamphlets to all
the churches .Employees in the churches go house to house their main target is to go to Hindu's houses. (as they are their soft targets.)After having successfully converted a Hindu group, the converted group will start to work for them in the same way holding pamphlets, instruction materials, copies of Bible ....and they call themselves as workers (in Tamil `OOZHIYAM' )they also get paid for their service a lot of unemployed youths are also roped in to this "business'. Hindus DO NOT PREACH. We never try to convert anyone even if we get married to a christian or Muslim partner.
Thanks for the blessed testimony how the Lord brought you from the hindu brahmin family. It's my humble prayer that if your heart is open for the Lord the same way you were opening your heart for the lord when you were young, the Lord will show you a path that which no powers of darkness can hold you and cover you. The Lord is irrespective of a person. If you are open to the Word of God, He will show you the right path. Read the the word of God with an openness He will show you the right passages how you can grow in your spiritual life. You may be comfortable there for now, but the Lord will have a better way for you to bring somany Hindus to the Lord. Spiritual maturity is the next step the Lord is looking from your life. It's not from the catholic standpoint. You will be limiting God's power when you settle for less in a catholic way of living. Please allow the holy spirit to show you the right way.

It's so pity that people think from converting from Hinduism to other religion. There is nothing which is not there in Bhagavad Geeta and there is nothing which happens in the world which is not there in Geeta. Anyway god bless you and your family
How can you claim that there is nothing which is not there in Geeta? You can claim this only if you have read everything available for reading which noone can do. And obviously there are things which are not present in Geeta, for example the technical skills of football you cannot learn from Geeta.
