3 1/2 billion to ukraine works out about £240 from every working person in this country each year, council tax will go up, its just unaffordable to work

Imagine paying council tax cos Mi6 + whitehall can define a clear strategy...luv it. Charge it back in ratio of salaries and pensions I would.

100 billion probably, when you factor in air cover, troops, yep they are on the ground, training, support, scripts for social media, running around illegally seizing Russian assets where did that go?..sure its illegal but where did it all go, who got those assets, anyway....UK is a sh1t show.
      Luv Brit in X-aisle.

The Institute for Fiscal Studies (Created in 1965 as a politically independent organisation to study and report on public finances) has cited the £22Bn black hole in the economy.
So Adrian, what are your sources for stating otherwise apart from the politically motivated Conservatives and Reform Party?

.. from an article published on IFS website -
'Yes, the Tories left Labour a mess to clear up but it’s disingenuous for Rachel Reeves to claim that taxes might have to rise to fund predictable public sector pay rises... Labour, which knew the broad outline of these challenges, but refused to confront them in its manifesto and pre-election statements'

That institute sounds very Labour oriented and more credible organisations said it’s a total fabrication

so cuts incoming, as the Economy inflates, meaning more cuts, cos consumers will tighten spending (tax income falls, unemployment increases, benefit burden increases) and the gov base spending auto increases by 2-3%, its a RAT TRAP....and you've been caught. Q sax solo- as Bobby Geldolf sang.
