Romantic Germany (Issue 1) Bergstraße / Odenwald

Today I’m starting a new series of travel videos which I named „Romantic Germany“.
It’s not about big cities such as Berlin, Hamburg, Munich or Cologne. It’s more about smaller cities and towns which are for me hidden jewels in the back country.
So the first issue of this series is dedicated to Odenwald and Bergstraße - a region roughly located between Darmstadt and Heidelberg.
Historic city centers from medieval times with (half-)timbered buildings, market places, churches, city walls, monastries, castles and fortresses will play the main role in my "Romantic Germany" series.
Please follow me to see a handful locations in this Bergstraße / Odenwald region.
Places which are highlighted are Michelstadt, Felsenmeer near Lauterbach, Bensheim, Lorsch, Heppenheim, Weinheim and Ladenburg.
Also visited was automobile museum of Dr. Carl Benz the inventor of the automobile. Lots of info about the life of Carl Benz and his wife Bertha who became the first person who performed a long distance trip with the first automobile is provided there. It's a must see for all automotive interested people and " petrolheads ".
