80's Michael Jordan vs Loaded Division Rival - Clutch Takeover & Carry With Masterful Technique

- This truly was a Hoops Master Class by Michael Jordan.
The late 80's Cleveland Cavaliers were a quality playoff basketball team, when healthy. There were so many Bulls vs Cavs contests that came down to the wire, in the 80's. This contest would follow the familiar pattern.
First quarter, Brad Daugherty (#1 overall draft pick 1986, 5x All-Star) tore the Chicago Bulls up inside, and it looked as though effort was optional for most of the Bulls... Michael Jordan's supporting cast was underperforming, again. In the 2nd quarter, it got even worse, when Cleveland went on a 10-0 run. Michael Jordan once again was called to the rescue, and the dramatics only intensified in the second half.
Along with Brad Daugherty, the Cavs had a young rookie Kevin Johnson (1 of only 3 games he started before being traded to the Phoenix Suns, 5x All-NBA, 3x All-Star), a 23 year old Dell Curry who would match up with Jordan on a significant amount of plays, Craig Ehlo who always chased Jordan around giving max effort, Hot Rod Williams who was coming off his All-Rookie campaign, to go with Ty Corbin & Mark West who tore the Bulls up off the bench.
Michael Jordan was the Bulls nuclear option, and in the 1980's, that option was utilized to the fullest extent. In this contest however, Michael Jordan took the game over displaying the highest levels of precision with his lethal scoring. Air Jordan hit some of those "only Jordan could hit that shot" type of shots in this game. Just an unreal awe inspiring performance! Prime late 80's Michael Jordan practically levitated around the court with his insane balance & leaping ability. And in Jordan fashion, he told his teammates to hop on his back, with one thought in mind... win the game!
