Paean to Apollo. Fragments of this composition have been preserved in the Berlin papyrus 6870. Composer unknown. The copy was made in the late 2nd or early 3rd century AD. This recording presents the first ever attempt at the full reconstruction of this piece.
Paian, o Paian, hail o Lord ... who delights in Delos' ... and in the eddying waters of Xanthos ... and Ismenos' springs ... Paian, that leadest the Muses in their singing by the Horse's Fountain (Hippokrene) ... voice, thou that ... fire ... binding [bay] on thy hair ... A form of translation I guess
(Credit to The Epic of Aspasia for a Spanish translation,
I just translated it to English to the best I can):
    First Chorus:
Oh healer! Oh healer! Hail, king, possessor of pythia.
    Who delights in Delos,
strait washed by the waves, and in the Scamander,
joint heir of the land of Lydia,
and the streams of Ismeno and sweet sources of the Eurotas.
    Second Chorus:
Healer, who reigns over the muses, who surround your chariot.
Delight in supplicating hymns, initiator of beautiful voice.
King, whose radiant fire reveals, with long crowned hair.
He slays the larva, taking revenge on the one who dishonors his mother, Leto.
Incorruptible (Imperishable) glory surrounds the son of Leto,
for whom Zeus holds the bright torch, lit like sunlight.
Incorruptible (Imperishable) glory surrounds the son of Leto,
for whom Zeus holds the bright torch, lit like sunlight.
Incorruptible (Imperishable) glory surrounds the son of Leto,
for whom Zeus holds the bright torch, lit like sunlight.
Incorruptible (Imperishable) glory surrounds the son of Leto,
for whom Zeus holds the bright torch, lit like sunlight,
so that golden fruits may be born in the clods of earth.
