I absolutely adore the EDF series! It doesn't take itself seriously, yet it's so inspirational because the story is about overcoming impossible and overwhelming odds even when it feels totally hopeless. It's the perfect game to just jump into a coop with someone and have fun. Btw I love your Ghost Stories icon lol, that anime's dub is legendary and put me in tears 😂
Argh, my previous comment never made it. Short story short. Game has impeccable voice acting that you can sense the dread, the real emotion, never seen before. There is a video which explains its great and one of a kind storytelling that is immersive. EDf4 manages everything well, from music to suits(like wing diver, the best version, those glasses). It only needed quality of life fixes while keeping the quality but l sense later games dropped in quality, especially the voice acting experience (EDF4 songs have real emotion to it). Ghost stories is a one of a kind category on its own, a must watch. You can learn lot of it, l did, through Momoko Koigakubo and her, well timed, fitting bible references. My first anime and probably last, there is nothing like it. Nothing will be ever created like it, too "hostile" to current agendas. No freedom. Kane and Lynch 2, Ghost stories Dub and other games l love, have such unique storytelling experience that are so immersive, same goes for the simple EDF4.

When a game finally lets you get creative like a child and have more fun with it. Really, the games do need freedom of gadgets being able to coexist.
