hey, dunno if youre gonna read this, however the 13.77" scale isnt that weird of a number if you think in metric! its exactly 350mm. Ibanez fretboards are usually 400mm (15.75") or 430mm (16.9"). I think its because theyre japan based. I noticed that most european manufacturers go with imperial/inches though. (3:41)
I've been thinking about this guitar for over a year now. Just sold my Chavel San Dimas and will probably convert the money into the KH602, but I'll get the black one, tho. Not entirely sure yet, but know myself...I'll get this very soon. Thanks for the review!
Honestly, I usually don’t like sparkle color guitars… But I’m digging that Purple sparkle 😃 I wouldn’t get skulls on any of my guitars, but I like the skulls on Hammett’s guitar because that’s what makes it unique and it’s factory 🙂
7:28 what Stainless Steel 9V Guitar battery Box Battery Cover Box Case Compartment could you recommend for this guitar without ANY alteration to the guitar? THANKS for your advice in advance.
That last models are all coming out with the pau ferro fretboard. It's basically a lottery now with that issue. You never know what you gonna get until you get it.
I have this guitar. I will say its not bad, but I bought the Schecter Purple Reign and I nearly quit playing the ESP/LTD. Its that good. Its got just as killer of a paint job. But the options and playability goes to Schecter all day. The Purple Reign is a Sweetwater Exclusive so once its gone its gone for good. I might buy another one.
Nice to see it's so dialed up fretwork wise. My 2013 needs some work in that area, I'm still hesitating between spot leveling or pulling out the beam. Otherwise they're very good guitars, I'll say I still think my ESPs and Edwards are a notch above my 1000/600 series Ltds but YMMV. Is yours Indo or Korean?
Love the video👍 I ordered one and it had terrible fret buzzing. Refunded it and bought a new one and it still had lots of fret buzzing at the lower frets on the E and A string. Any advice??
@@teqnifii4095 thanks for watching ! In sorry you had 2 crappy experiences id start with your set up neck relief, tune the guitar to pitch and check your relief then check your action if your relief is to much in either direction it can definetly cause buzzing to much back bow can cause buzzing in the middle of the fretboard and to much relief the opposite way can cause buzzing also start there then u can start checking for high frets and thats a whole diff story depending on you skills with working on guitars! Good luck and report back !
@@SIX1NINEGUITARSANDGEAR I ended up finding out the frets were messed up from the factory. So I returned it. 3 times the charm??? + Thanks for the advice.
That sounds good could be a grounding issue or grounding loop. Take a look at the wiring and make sure everything looks good sometimes the factory people will do some stuff that will affect the way your guitar sounds that other people normally wouldn't do like putting all your grounds on your three-way switch would definitely do that. Hope that helps.
I got this guitar on a trade so didn’t have option of choosing color but the guitar was to nice to pass up plus i have alot of black guitars already haha
I have the KH-202, there is no sustain on this guitar, the sound just dies out suddenly, it does not fade slowly, just absolute cut off, I changed the pickups and I get the same result.
For the price I just can't get past the fact it's an LTD, I know the build is solid but it just screams Epiphone, Squire of the ESP world, just spend a little more and get an ESP.
@@pjdexter168 i mea 5-600$ can make a big diff in someones budget and honestly ive olayed esp E II and there not that much better to justify the extra money beside paying for the fact that it says E ii on it. Comparing it to a Squier is a little much lol epiphone maybe since the epiphones nowadays are sometimes better then the gibsons QC wise
Man Your Guitar Tone is Beautiful and Heavy, i think it shows perfectly what the Bone Breakers are made for. Good Work and Thank You for the Review 🙏🏼
@@ELECTRICSCARS thank you so much… i try to get the best tone possible and mix it so it translates through any speaker. Appreciate you
I do miss that guitar, but I'm still happy with the trade. 🤘 Thanks again brother.

I just ordered one, I hope it comes with a darker fretboard because I’ve seen some of those with a very light brown pau ferro fretboard.
