One thing I'll say playing devil's advocate is that we don't know _for sure_ what people have to give up when they submit to Viltrumites. Another reactor said something along the lines of "can we have a tour first?" and now it kinda makes sense, if Nolan alone could help so much... I only remember exploring a story like this in Childhood's End. I'd like to see more on that front, especially if they would flesh it out rather than just defaulting to "you can't tell us what to do and we'll die on that hill".

Nolan is a SpAcE cOloNiZer! Anissa had some parts of her Viltrumite pitch that I gestured as a scale and looked at either hand, but it didn't make the cut. Makes me think of the whole 'Thanos did nothing wrong' sentiment in Marvel. It's more of a conversation piece than comment material but I'm being brief 😅

Actually no Rex is like gambit. Like in season one, in episode 2, he says “I’m down to pocket change” when fighting the aliens. Also in episode 5, he throws fridge magnets. And in episode 3, when he is complaining about the schedule, he make la the paper burn up.

@raphaelnouh1442 that's a few good observations I didn't pick up on. I want to hear Rex's version of a creole accent now...
