AUKUS is a waste of money. This money would be better spent to improve the welfare of the 25 mil Australians. Improve the education system, upgrade the schools n teacher training

All that is needed to improve the quality of life for Australia is to ban immigration. And stop electing uneducated Communist globalist politicians to our parliament

Yes, Australia doesn't need AUKUS. Australia needs to settle the problems of inflation, housing unaffordability, the higher cost of living, the unemployed, the abuse of centrelink..etc

Till weeks ago I thought there was only one wise politician in Australia, Paul K, but now I see the second, Jordon. I spent some time in australia and I like the common people but the politicians in general are disgraceful. There are 3 major colonies in Pacific, Australia, Korea, Japan, and they are doomed all together.

    As an Australian,
I was horrified by much that the Morrison Govt did.
But the pathetic rushing through of nuclear powered subs for outrageous money
    was unbelievable...
I don't want or like the influence of America AT all at the level of politics.

this senator should run to lead australia and end its ludicrous 'china containment' entanglement, on top of realigning australia's foreign policy to be totally independent and not shackled to the u.s.' desperate cling on its fading but dangerous hegemony.

"The Australian community more broadly" ? What a joke. That is a deceitful claim. He really means the majority of inner city progressive left elitists, who are actually a minority of the entire Australian population. The "Voice" referendum is a perfect example. Go back to sipping your latte at the corner Cafe and let the majority of Australians decide.

the u.s. has expanded the most, and worse, their expansion is mostly military (hundreds of bases globally to intimidate and suppress nations, esp weak ones), and this has contributed to instability, war, chaos, human rights abuses, you name it. the u.s. thinks it can do anything it wants, and even allies are fed up (france, germany, spain, korea, even canada, etc.) and these same allies are now preferring to join china's brics rather than be badly influenced continuously by war-mongering usa. the world cheers on china, the only superpower that is peacefully countering the u.s.' sickening self-righteousness, double standards, bullying, abuse of power, etc. and providing much needed balance. even the u.s. dollar is being ditched by also u.s. allies, lol. so, rejoice, or go ahead and be gutless blokes by being timidly subdued and dictated and enslaved by the autocratic americans forever.

You talk about the Australian communities expectations? What makes you an authority on what the community wants and needs? How is your speech any different to the exact point you made? Yet again impossible to vote for the greens despite some really good progressive policies but fail to understand the importance of national security
