Thanks for this rundown on PureRef. I’ve seen a few people mention it in the past but this great walk-through will be the final kick that I need to actually go and download it and start using it. 👍
Thank you, Its a very useful program but there is a very important feature that you missed, its the lock and opacity options where you can lock the image and make opacity low so you can trace your image and use as reference for any program to draw on . This was the feature that i searched it for actually to able to do reference image for tracing
Great video. A great way to put windows side by side is with the shortcut [for Windows] WindowKey + LeftArrow on one window and right arrow on the other. Then you can drag in the middle to change the sizes
Awesome! I literally just downloaded this today. So thanks for the great explanation on how to use it. Can you crop images? I did I miss a crop option?
@@RyanKingArt it's apparently hold C while selecting the area ya wanna keep. I had one pick where the part I wanted was INSIDE this huge image of nothingness and it was annoying on the mood board. Ruining my mood haha.
Im a beginer in zbrush so I use split screen with a 3d reference model on left screen and then i overlay a grid for both screens and can sculpt farely well.
Oh I see. Well its actually free. You can donate to them if you want, or you can type in 0 on the price box on there website to get it for free if you need to re-download it.
This comes literally out of nowhere but, how much knowledge do you have of Geometry Nodes? Because maybe you can do tutorials on that too? Things such as creating cliff walls (rocks), a pipe system, trees or gears etc. That would be really cool, as I've seen people use the geometry nodes to create singular rocks or a simple pipe system. Anyways, very useful video once again!
Thanks for the tutorial request. I actually don't have very much experience with geometry nodes, since its kind of a newer feature in Blender. It wasn't a thing 6 years ago when I started learning Blender, and now I spend so much time making tutorials, its hard to find time to learn a new part of Blender. But yes, I do plan on making more Geo-Node tutorials.
Bro I have some questions this laptop is running blender without hang > 16gb ram - 5500intel hd ghraphic - core i3 6th generation - 2ghz speed - and this is hang on blender so what ram you will yous
@@RyanKingArt thanks bro I will watch your some videos I think your best teacher for blender I think you are making the video on riging character animation with face riging please make video soon
Can someone help me? 2023 and I use pure reference but it is not overlapping the other app. I use potoshop and it's been stressful not being able to understand what's going on the pure reference is not overlapping since it's its main function and the reason I downloaded it. I have windows 11 if that changes anything but I don't think so.

Yes!!! 😀
amazing
thanks! 👍
Love the app, however, support sucks, and it's real hard to update because they don't track your purchase. I've had to buy it a couple of times.

I have 32 GB ram in my computer, but I don't think you even need that much.
@@RyanKingArt thanks bro I will watch your some videos I think your best teacher for blender I think you are making the video on riging character animation with face riging please make video soon
How can you copy the images in Pureref and then paste them into blender as an image?
That doesn't work at all. Does anyone know how this works?
I don't think there is any way to do that, other then taking a screenshot, and adding that into blender

Can i place more than 1 thousand pic on one board?
I don't know. the program might crash with that many photos.
There's a BUG in the slideshow in which the app "forgets" the proper image order after closing and reopening the file.
oh, sorry to hear that.
where is the trim function?
If you hold down the C button, and then click and drag over an image, it will crop the image.
how to drag and drop on mac full screen window for blender. Any mac user here?
