I love the developers choice of design for Silva the irony is his security and him carry blades with argent wolf and he transforms into a wolf, one would wonder if they can choose what form to take like the butterfly of delirium you would wonder if that revenant loved butterflies
actually i think it's more personality than anything. He was always willing to do anything to save his "pack" he counted all of humanity among it, willing to throw himself among the "monsters" to kill a monster that happened to be his daughter. Honestly everyone loves to give him shit, but forget he's human. That even with his neglect of not knowing what Mido was doing , he played his hands so close to his chest and cared enough to sacrifice himself when the situation called for it. He's literally my favorite character in this game. Him not loving his daughter is a lot of people's consensus but forget that she had to agree and did so( the Bor Parasite experiment) , even though Karen and Aurora knew that the human testing was not even close to an option. ( Mido's plans i guess or jsut fucking with results to get what he wanted). While he wasn't there for her hospitalization he was doing so many other tests with her results to try and make her more comfortable and the rejections less apparent. Unfortunately his experiments didn't progress fast enough and i personally think Mido threw his own wrenches in Silva's plans. However while he wasn't fast enough to save his daughter his experiments were enough to save humanity. I get the feeling he was wracked with guilt of how many died under his watch and so to make it right made himself the " King" the watcher of the relics and even while fighting you he was holding back as the gaol was still intact despite the amount of relics he had. I feel a lot of people don't give him enough credit.
I think the appereance that revenant took when they became lost could be influenced by their personnality, will, past and how they frenzied. -Oliver took time before his full transformation, but I think, behind all his kindness and selfless attitude, Oliver hide a deep pain because of all the revenant slaves he knew and a deep hatred toward his 3 torturers. This pain and hate turn him into a wrathful beast, a Berserker (his blood code's name)who let his rage kill the 3 bullies revenants to avenge all the revenants they send to their frenzy and death. -for the butterfly, It could be a beautiful lady but with a toxic and bitter personnality. Her beauty represent her butterfly side and her personnality represent her poison abilities. -for the despote, I think he was a chief, violent and greedy. Maybe his band abandoned him in the dried trench and took all his bloodbeads. Drived by madness, he tried to kill himself with his axe (that why he got his axe in his corpse) but he fail and transform. -for the executionner, she could be a dancer who hide in her heart some sadistic fantasm. Maybe she drowned in the howling pit swamp during her frenzy. -the argent berserker is a powerful cerberus soldier send to guard some places (the cathedral and the gouvernement center), but he/she got frenzied, he/she became a beast who still guarding thoses places, because it was the last thing he/she remembered before becoming a lost. -Aurora turn into a dog/wolf like monster because all she wanted is to protect Karen and so, she become her guard dog. She use gift more than brutal strengh because she is brillant and intelligent. -the queen knight could be a reference to what Jack said before about drinking the Queen blood. Maybe it was the 1st to do that and with the Queen blood in its vein, he became the most strongest lost of this time and the Queen's "General" -Nicola always wanted to be a knight and seem to love jet and giant robots too. -Emily is swift and bold, with a fiery personnality. That why she became a fire ninja lost. -I will not talk about the guilded hunter, Blade bearer, cannoner and Mido, because they are "artificial losts". -I have nothing special to say about the frensied attendant. -for Silva, I only say that he took the appereance of his emblem : a Cerberus (with his drain, it look like he got three wolf heads). -And finally, for the virgin born queen, It make me wonder the link that the BOR parasite have with the Aragami (the horrors), because it's very similar to thoses monsters.

The Human NPC in Provisional Government Center clearly says that he didn't want Cruz to participate in the Queen Project, but that she volunteered herself. In general, Silva is a character who you initially think will be a villain, but is gradually revealed to actually be a hero. He gave up his own daughter for the cause unwillingly (she was the one who insisted on it), and when she frenzied he had to put aside his love in order to kill her. And of course, he willingly sacrificed his own self to maintain the Red Mist for the good of all humanity. He's no King, he's a prisoner, bound forever to the throne unless we free him in the good ending. Not to mention, even after Mido causes him to frenzy, he _still_ manages to hold on through sheer force of will to maintain the Red Mist.
When Io is down, the boss only needs one more hit and you have no more healing left... That feeling, after so many hours... To finally beat him... To see him rise again... To hear her/him speaking for one single time... To hear this music while your heart is beating nonstop... To shed the last tears after THAT ending... What a great adventure that was. And the open ending leaves hope for a sequel. If that's going to happen, I'm totally in.

A perfect way to finish this fight (only if you play Queenslayer)? -all your heal used and your life still low -your partner is injured and could not heal or save you anymore -the final boss's life reduced to its last quarter -all hope lost -use Final journey -continue and win this fight *this is how I won this fight on my first play*

@@RogueSamaelZX I got this with final journey when I tried to defeat the Skullking without a mate. I won with 10% hp, 0 potions left and FJ on CD... I played 1handed sword build.
The fake put final boss is genuinely one of the best bosses this game has to offer, which isn't saying much considering the general lack of quality by comparison to other souls likes, but still, Silva is very well designed. Considering how he buffs several times throughout the fight, becoming more aggressive, extending his combos, gaining new moves and after effects, all reminds me of Lady Maria from Bloodborne, as she would only 'upgrade' her current moveset, rather than gaining new crazy attacks, like Malenia for example. Maintains familiarization, and unlike most bosses in this game, is incredibly consistent with his damage build up, speed of his attacks, and what attacks count as safe to heal or counter. Note: I did my first run solo, I'm sure with partners, the bosses are more than fair and fine quality wise, but my stubborness as a souls player screams that I have to solo every boss at least once. The Virgin born is also pretty alright, my only wish was that its thorns of judgement when it's in the center of the arena was a bit more clear in how to avoid it. The variant for when it's in the outermost part of the arena is relatively clear, just get out of its way, and the entire area it's facing. I.E. like phase 1 Aldrich's arrow rain, or shara ishvalda's spirit bomb.

Either you continue the holding of the relics and the torment of the successors or try and leave the world one day as Io holds down the fort keeping the wall up and maintaining a blood beads source. Either way the wall will fall one day. Either the successors break or a solution like in the good ending was found. Either way the age of fire will end. If not now someone will fail to keep the flame lit.
If u guys confused and take a weeks to defeat this boss (just like me) Here's a tips i can give u guys -bring yakumo -use a blood gifts -don't be too far away from this thing -Try to not get distracted/become insane because of the theme (if u can) K that's all after all he's still hard tho If u guys still doing hardcore on this thing,maybe u guys can follow your weapon build! Ok! i'm out!
Cant wait for code vein 2 and hope that we can dual wield anything or hold 2 weapons at once like a sabre looking sword and a bayonet and make unique atk animation, combos, and skills. And add new weapons like a scythe, shield, and knuckles.
I just discovered this short gem of a soulslike 'variety' and i love all of its music BUT this is not the skull king's ost, no? There was a different theme playing when i fought him in both playthroughs while king of the shingai played versus virgin reborn or however that abberation was called. Getting absurdly low on hp and saying 'fuck it' to pop Final Journey made this such a good ass fight

I beat him without help on my fourth try first playthrough with a considerable amount of healings left
