    I also just bought a mirrcraft but it’s a closed bow so i have to open her up but only paid $750 which is a steal up here in Canada. What size is the aluminium square tube that used for the floor frame

    FYI, drill bits are intended to go thru wood, metal, etc. NOT skin! Ha ha ha! Good job so far. Really liked the idea for the pedestal seat mounting!

    how deep is it? how about the transom?
    really cool set up. cant wait to see it finished

      I don't remember for sure but I think around 3 feet deep. The transom was 20 or 21 inches tall same as for a long shaft. I sold the boat so I'll try and make a video of it soon showing it mostly finished.

    What did you use to bolt the metal framing to the boat? Wouldn't screws cause leaks

      rivets and none of the rivets are going threw the bottom of the boat.

      what size rivets did you use it looks like its setting in angle iron that want come apart doing time?thanks I have a 14 ft same well it looks the same lol I have no idea how to frame it trying to get some ideas etc I don't want to tose the benches in there I would like to frame it over them using them somehow.
