As the original concierge for the Polynesian Resort (decades ago) I was very happy to hear the concierge staff was doing a great job! I have to admit my years as the lead concierge at the Polynesian were my favorite times while working at Disney!
Being able to hug the characters again is literally what it’s all about!! So happy for Genevieve that she got to hug them!!
Gigi is the luckiest girl in the world. She’s going to appreciate these memories. Imagine being able to say yeah I’ve been to Disney 20 times my parents work for them 😌

The people who always question why you guys go so often... I'm sitting here like damn wish I could go often!! I just wish I could vacation often! Not hate or shade just thinking about the wonderful memories you two and your kids are making for a lifetime. I love it. Adults and kids deserve these type of memories. 🥰
I remember when my mom used to work there at the Polynesian 😩 but at least we are still close to Disney. We ate breakfast at Ohana a few months ago !!! Loved the vlog awww 🥰

°o°We LOVE CL…. DID YOU KNOW…. You can go upstairs as soon as you arrive at resort and have breakfast, mimosas etc, EVEN if your room isn’t ready yet? I see you at this table, looks like you may have bought quick service food🤷🏼♀️as a matter of fact, when we stay CL , we don’t even do the mugs. Love Poly & you guys are FANTASTIC!!! °o°🎀⭐️🎀

I have to say one thing I miss about Tyler doing the editing is his awesome commentary! It was always so informative (and I’m sure time consuming) but it reminds of watching nature shows like planet earth…basically when your David Attenborough lol

watching this trip again! love you guys! Tyler could you do a video about refrigerators or beverage cooler, I still dont know in which resorts you have one or the other. I would really prefer the refrigerator to buy food and eat healthier when Im in the room.
Jai Alai beer is made by Cigar City Brewing which is based in Tampa. Tampa has a huge craft beer scene and Cigar City is one of the best and most famous. Their Maduro stout is amazing if you like dark beer.

My boys first trip to Disney when they were 3, was spent at the Polynesian. It's so nostalgic for us. I need to stay there again!!
Cigar City now brews their core beers at a bigger facility so they’re able to brew for the whole US and some other countries and their main brewery focuses on more experimental stuff! If you’re ever in Tampa it’s an incredible place to stop by!!

I have determined the sounds and music at amusement parks is to please the parents. When I worked at Cedar Point all they played was 80s music. I go there now and it’s early 2000s pop.
Those Owners Locker is an awesome idea! Just buy some full sized stuff and some make and whatever toiletries and you won't have to worry as much.

I have super fond memories of going to The Polynesian in ‘77 with my best friend, mom and aunt for a luau dinner. It was spectacular! Those dancers were amazing!
That started my love for the Polynesian and Hawaiian people and culture. Love Moana and how cool to be staying in that themed room. Thanks for sharing this with us!

Tyler I said “JAI ALAI” so loud when you mentioned it! My husband goes “Why are you shouting about beer at 10:30 am?!” HA. I have a Cigar City Jai Alai shirt I wear all the time. It’s one of our faves too.

I’m so excited! I’ve been waiting to watch these vlogs!!
We stayed at Beach Club concierge level and loved it! Staff was awesome. Food was great. It was a fantastic way to grab a coffee and quick breakfast before hitting the park. Also we would take drinks and things back to our room.
😆 OMG, All I heard was 'Tyler's very excited because he has his favorite beer, Hi-Life... you can only get it here, but it must be doing well because now it's other places...nostalgic', followed by hearing Jessica's tone saying 'that's great' almost made me deceased!! 😆😆 I was like there is NO way these people are talking in a non-sarcastic manner about his favorite, oh so delicious beer, ...Miller High life! It was a moment where I reevaluated reality, my judgement, and comprehension. 😆 Then I looked up and saw, alas, it is not a Miller, and it appears to be a microbrew. All is well! 😆
We just got back from there 3 weeks ago! Our first time getting club level and it was awesome. The new mugs are adorable but our family took 100% advantage of all the free drinks in the concierge lounge. Can’t wait to get back soon
Where you stayed at the Polynesian looks really nice. I want to get back to Disney so badly and just travel more in general. Until then I’ll live vicariously through you. I can’t wait to see the rest of the Disney vlogs!!
I’m staying at the Poly with my family in February for the first time and it’s my dream resort at Disney. This just made me so excited!!! Love the vlogs and can’t wait to see what you all get up to on the rest of your vacation❤️

I stayed Club Level at the Poly in 2015 for my 30th bday. I enjoyed myself but would’ve preferred Grand Floridian or AKL (my fav), but that might change after seeing your vlogs and the refurb.
Headed to Disney in 2 months w/our 9mo old and 3yr old so taking all the tips!!! Please tell us where Jessica got her ears for the light show!

Our first year taking our daughter (who is 9) to Disney was a week before you guys got to Disney this time….. so I’m guessing that at the time you guys filmed this we were driving back from Florida from our vacation. We also live in Indiana so I just thought it was really cool that we were both in Florida at the same time! Lol!

Tyler have you used Garden Grocer? Excellent to have groceries delivered to your hotel….water, wine, snacks, fruit, sandwich stuff…even a styrofoam cooler to keep drinks if you run out of fridge room
This is really more a comment for Jess but I think this is the best place to leave it--- Can you do a video about being pregnant at Disney? I feel like you are the BEST person to ask! I'm going in September and will be about 10 weeks pregnant at that point. Any tips would be SO appreciated.

FYI I’ve heard from friends that live and work in the Orlando area that the staff at the Grand Floridian are consistently rude and not helpful. Though she was exaggerating until I hear you say this.
