Hello beautiful. Have a nice day.
bravo. Very clever piece. I'm just finishing my music masters in the next couple of months. How do you cope with the stress, I nearly mucked up my last marked performance by shaking so much. Looking forward to hearing lots more
Thank you! I found that doing my masters' part-time really helped lower the stress levels generally, but as for performing, I really do find that playing the programme as much as I can to others helps. Also, a lot of the repertoire I played for my final recital was quite spacious and focussed on single lines. I think I learned to become comfortable with the spaces in the music, which really helped me focus. If your repertoire doesn't allow for that maybe you could try framing the performance with longer silences at the beginning and end? Best of luck for the recital!
@@tomsmithguitar thank you so much. last year for the Honours at the LCM we had to submit our performances online during lockdown. Somehow it was easier with just a camera and it went well. This year I'm just a bag of nerves, despite spending 100's of hours in rehearsals. I just want to wish you all the very best going forward and looking forward to hearing more.
