    Thank you very much, Nika. I like your videos and your lessons help me in studying the Ukrainian language. I hope you can work in a safe place, because I know it's not easy to be safe in Ukraine now. I work with Lviv Ukrainian Catholic University for an Italian project, so I must improve my Ukrainian language. Thanks

    Perhaps the alterations in the first person singular have happened naturally? If you try to say я ходи-ю many times and fast, it just becomes я ходжу. And thank you for a very good explanation of conjugations!

    In the 2nd conjugation. 25:56 The photo in the video seems wrong? Because after I checked other resources about the rule of 2nd conjugation, in я form it should be "у" after the consonant and "ю" after the vowel just like the 1st conjugation. No?

    Thank you very much! Your lessons are so clear! I’m French and I didn’t find an Ukrainian teacher who speaks French so I practice my English at the same time!
    I have a question: you often speak about soft and hard letters but I don’t know what it is; I don’t hear soft or hard letters, I don’t understand what it means. Could you help me please? ( maybe you did a video about this subject?) Thank you very much for all your videos,it helps me a lot 😊

    Once I understand this lesson it would be helpful to have a short video that will repeat of just pronunciation in Ukrainian. This will allow students to memorize a basic verb conjugation. Just concentrating on Ukrainian allows me to hear the sounds that are uncommon in English.

    Hi! Super, super, super, SUPER helpful channel! I have one question as I've tried to apply this framework to other verbs. Розуміти - is this an exception to the second conjugation? It seems to follow the rules for the first conjugation when I see it in practice or look it up. Thanks for your response!

    • @VERBA_SCHOOL
      @VERBA_SCHOOL  10 месяцев назад

      Yeah, we just need to remember some verbs unfortunately 🙈
      Розуміти, вагітніти, хворіти, непритомніти, радіти, володіти, шаленіти - all these verbs with -іти are the first conjugation. Most of them are not of the level A1,so I did include them.

      The best textbook that I know of is called Beginner's Ukrainian, by Yuri Shevchuk. It is in its second edition, and I think the third edition is expected to come out soon. And yes, I have tried almost all of them!!!

    Привіт Ніко 😄. Ви знаєте, я стежу за вами з того часу, як три роки тому почав вивчати російську мову, і завжди знаходив ваші відео неймовірно корисними. Таким чином, відмінювання українських дієслів нескладно, хоча я б сказав, що як група слів дієслова, безумовно, найскладніші, я трохи борюся з різними приставками, вони, здається, йдуть дещо іншою системою, ніж російська, деякі не існують, деякі змінені, так що тут є над чим попрацювати.
    Також я порадив би вам переробити відео, яке ви зробили російською мовою, з різними звуками тварин і спорідненими дієсловами, а також відео, яке ви зробили з назвами функцій тіла. Я бачив ці відео багато разів, такої інформації немає в жодній книзі.

      Я обов'язково зніму такі відео українською) так багато ідей, і замало часу 🙈🙈🙈

    Найкраще пояснення дієвідмін - дякую! Але є помилка: ІІ дієвідміна 1 особа однини (після голосного - ю, після приголосного - у, а не навпаки).
