Scott, I love your promotion and intention on making the 60 Plymouth a reality. It turned out to be such an asset in making the 60 Fury a reality. A special moment in time this was. 😘
It sure has come a long way. Few things. I would love to see a compilation video once the 60s all done. And it would be great to get a video of you going out to the original family and taking people for rides. 👍🏻😊👍🏻
Very solid Dart Pioneer. It brings back memories. Neighbor traded in his 52 Plymouth Cranbrook 4 door for a new yellow with white top 60 Dart Pioneer 2 door sedan , slant six, pushbutton Powerflite, heater, white walls, full wheel covers. Pioneer was middle trim level. Seneca was the stripped version. Phoenix was the fancy one.
Oh Lordy, that LTD takes me back, lol. We had one just like it bought new in '77. Gold color, same interior. I believe it had a 351 Windsor, but I could be mistaken on that and it might have been a Cleveland. Nice score on the Dodge.
'60 Dodge Pioneer 4 door! EXACTLY the same as my dad bought new...his was brown with a 318 automatic, I hated the color, but that's what mom picked. ✌😁
I love just love Frankers *so much!* She’s an invaluable member of the team. The best moral support. Such exuberance in the Dodge design. Such optimism.
Yet another car from my youth, my father drove a 60 Dodge Dart Seneca 4 door until the spring came through the floor of the trunk. I admit I hate to see any vintage vehicle in that shape cut up, but watching you turn it into a 2 door Fury will be sufficient consolation.....even though the Cuban Taxi idea was interesting.
Dear cwm. I hungered for a new video and was very happy receiving this. What?? An old car thats runs immediately after turning the key? Never seen this on CWM before! So actually this time: NOT the same old shit! ;-) Can't wait to watch Fury restoration, I just love the style of those cars. In my opinion one of the best looking automobiles ever. Frankers is so full of joy, bouncing while running with the leach like a giant black bunny with permed hair. ;-) I just love to watch this. It's a pity that you didn't get the second car but this one was a very good deal. Congrats. It's solid and a very good base. Best regards.
My dad had a beautiful black and gold two door ‘58 Dodge with a Hemi. He ran it at a local drag strip (Maryville Drag Strip, Murvul Tennessee) several time and took his class most every time he raced it. Man that was a pretty car.
So excited to see the transformation of the Plymouth into a fully functional car! I love what you guys do to keep these cars alive and kicking! You do amazing work saving them. Thanks for the update on the merchandise order! Can't wait to get it! Thanks and God bless you!
The engine in that Dodge is a Canadian 313 cubic inch, not a 314 as written on it. I learned to drive in the exact same model in Ontario, my father's 1960 Dodge Pioneer 4 door sedan. Those engines were actually significantly more potent than the later 318's, an physically they really filled out the engine bay; not quite as wide as a hemi but still way larger than the later 318's. I was with my brother one time with 7 people in that 1960 car and he laid rubber all the way through an intersection from a dead stop. I was only 13 at the time but was never-the-less impressed. My dad had the 1960 and a 1964, both with the 313's followed by a 1967 with a 318. The first two were really pretty quick while the latter was an absolute slug.
The Dodge Pioneer would be the star in a Stephen King movie like Christine. Got the T shirts, they are uber great, you have to put out another series. Thanks, Peter and his trusty canine sidekick Jazzy
Frankers is still 100% puppy. Love watching her run and jump like that! So cute! Really looking forward to seeing the Fury project -- love me some old Plymouth Fury!! Back in the golden era of Plymouth, no doubt!
Re-visiting this one this morning, it's amusing hearing of the plan (at that time) of the Fury being a "daily beats" car. Hilarious.... 🙂 I don't think you all mention the coolest part of that old Pioneer - namely, the roof reverse scoops! Very cool. - Ed on the Ridge
What a great find. Couldn't help but notice the Spitzer script laying on the trunk. I think that dealership is in Cleveland Ohio. The cars sure get around. If your Dodge came from there, it must have spent it's winters in the garage. It would not be that rust free if it were driven around that area in the winters. Thanks so much for all the entertainment. I look forward to the next adventure!
Scott. We need some action shots of tricks performed by Frankers. Ball fetching, leash chasing, jumping through hoops, parts washing, maybe some interior chewing Olympics.
My first car was a 60 Dodge Dart. My dad bought it new at Jacobson Young Dodge City in New Orleans for my big sis to go to school. Sis gave it to me in the late 60s.
I haven’t had time to watch CWM videos lately, but immediately noticed the absence of Stella. So sorry to see that you have lost her. She was one classy lady and a beautiful girl.
Great find. It will be cool watching what you do to/with it. I love watching a dog, full of energy and happy as can be, running just for the fun of it. Cheers.
Part of me doesn't want you to cut up a pretty darn good solid sadan that could easily be put back on the road. But it really is about the best donor car you could have found for the Fury.
I definitely can respect Dean's appreciation of cars nobody else cares about... being that I have 5 cats and am partial to similar cars . He needs an AMC Hornet or better yet, an AMC eagle for the eclectic collection.
I was waiting for Dean to highlight the "roof vents" as he walked around the car. Great channel Scott - love all the agents and their input to this channel. Frankers is a blast - lovely dog. Cheers on Canada Day! Chuck in Kansas
hey Scott, Love everything you do, I have been a mopar fan since the first time i remember stumbling into my grandmothers garage and seeing the '59 Dodge coronet. It was two tone blue, four door, 2 speed push-button. BASE BASE BASE. I remember sitting in the passenger seat as my father fueled it at the gas station one saturday. It was idling so low I had to get out and put my ear to the hood to see if it was running. We would occasionally swap rims and tires around with our 70 challenger or our dodge van, wearing every tire down to the belts, including the snows. "good" times the energy crisis... Sadly, it was already rusting by the 70's when i was born, and then moving it out of the garage, and into our driveway in the 80's didn't help the tin worm problem. It was uncerimoniously scrapped sometime in the 2000's. Cut that dart to pieces my friend. After watching the video of what you did to Agent 8771's Fairlane, I have no doubt the final result will be sculpture. Are you trying to collect a fury coupe from every model year? cause if you are I see your game... BTW... did Dean say he picked up a 72 mercury with a big block-c6 for free? 'cause it might look press sweet in that Fairlane, just saying....
Hurry up and release another video! I am sitting here on pins and needles (boy do they hurt) I an dying to see you converting that old dodge into a Fury!! PLEASE PLEASE!
omg! look at Deans face! it looks like he was to close to the Plodge when it was getting primed and he got over sprayed! lmao! thanks again! oh my,lol! he's just fucking great isn't he!!! ▪☆☆☆▪
Another great informative video, I can't wait until you start the work on this project. Also I love to see Miss Frankers running around having a great time.
Great find! Above the standards of some of the rusty relics you have hauled home. Its a pity such a solid survivor has to become a donor but that Fury needs to get finished.
I have a 61 Phoenix 4 door hard top and the sheet metal change between those two years was HUGE! Funny how the Dart was Dodge's way to get into the 'compact' market with a 118" wheelbase 😄
J O ....Nope,the 1960-1962 Dodge Dart was a fullsize car ! 1963 The totally different 1963 - on Dart was a compact car...Confusing to many people not just you... 1962 Dart was a smaller than the 60-61 but still a fullsize..
Beg to differ. 60 & 61 were the same size 118" wheel base. Polara the FULL size car had a 122" wheel base. 62 was a one year only size Dart, some people call it the 'intermediate size' Dart. And yes the 63 is what what people think of the Dart today. So hence the first two year Darts were a quasi compact version of the FULL SIZE Polara. I read an interesting article about how Chrysler came to the realization that they had to start getting into smaller cars in the late 50's and the first Darts were the beginning.
The early Darts were introduced as a less expensive and slightly smaller version of the full size Polara mainly to try to compete with Plymouth and other similar sized GM and Ford models which were selling very well at the time. In the years 1961-1962 Dodge had the Lancer as a true compact car which was similar to the Plymouth Valiant. In 1963 the Valiant was completely restyled and its badge engineered Dodge equivalent was renamed the Dart.
murray1575 Can't deny that logical statment. I guess should of said 'smaller car market' to avoid all this confusion. That article did state the fact that it was the smaller domestics that they wanted a piece of that market. Yes the Lancer was a smaller rig during that time.
FWIW the Spitzer badge in the trunk came from Spitzer Dodge in Columbus, Ohio. Great auction score. That Poly is sweet. Couldn't believe I was watching you DRIVE a car onto the trailer....
Spitzer was based out of Grafton, Ohio and had dealerships there and in Elyria, Ohio. I'm thinking that badge came from the parts car because the car in the video is a Canadian model.
@22:00 a "Plodge" shirt in this script would make a great CWM cut Also can I just say this video sums up your friendship with Dean, many laughs were had!
What a COOL project! PLEASE start soon! I love Dean's enthusiasm that emerged put of reluctance! Go Frankers! Keep up the good work Scott...watch your language...PLEASE.
Hope you do a semi-step by step on the Fury ... Sounds like a major project ... Youze guys bring a smile on this old guy's face! ..KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
I noticed unlike the 60 Fury, the 60 Dodge has the bird nest in the glove box delete option. Thanks to you, Frankers and the rest of the CWM gang for another great video, can't wait to see the Fury transformation.
I would love to see some in depth video of the cutting and splicing to build the Fury. Got my Cold War Motors shirt the other day and was impressed with the quality of it. Really nice. Thanks. Paul.
Lovely buy. That V8 burble delicious. Love the way Frankers watches out for you as you drive on the trailer. Looking forward to seeing the next instalment
I strapped on my new CWM shirt just to watch this video. Please show as much of the actual "before" condition of the Fury and the cutting/splicing of both vehicles as possible. It would be totally fun to watch these 2 cars being engineered into 1.
Yes Scott, that's a nice car but you must do the Fury, it will end up being so much more desirable even though it may be hard taking to the old Dodge with a cutting disc. (Hopefully it will give me some inspiration to do more work on my Belvedere). Cheers to you, Gary and the other agents from chilly Melbourne.
William Schleicher -and not even necessarily an OE cruise control. Back in the 80's when cruise was still kinda rare, one could buy an add-on kit from JC Whitney, complete with vacuum diaphragm, brainbox, wires and turn signal stalk contraption that would fit over the stalk. The stalk on this car looks like the one from jc whitney
cmans79tr7 the Underwood bits look like the unit on my Dads 88 Fifth Avenue. Our 66 Imperial had cruise but it was controlled by a dash button. I don’t think cruise came to Dodges before 65 Monaco?
Dad bought a 76'ltd 2 dr.new man. that was neat to see. :) those like opera windows with the acid etched Ltd symbols! I remember scratching my thumbnail in the etching in 76'. crazy that you can remember shit like that. never will, but I'd like to pass one around with you guys too. your my kinda dudes I bet. good luck on all your stuff man
on today's Deans Dirty Drinks we see him sipping the fine PBR. the dodge is a worthy sacrifice because the '60 fury will be the finest cold war motors vehicle ever. thanks again for the great videos scott
Chrysler did use that shade of blue on factory engines during those years. That push button torqueflite automatic tranmission is legendary for strength and dependability. Back in the day, a lot mopar streetracers used stock torqueflites.
Yes, this one is in way too good of shape to restore. Plus, it runs and drives. Strip it! J/K. It is a shame someone mucked it up with the body work. Good to see Frankers hanging out inside the old cars.
I must say the car runs awesome! Kinda like the dodge better without all the chrome. Cool reverse scoops or louvers on roof are awesome! Thanks and looking forward to Fury rebirth.
I’m stubborn, know of a blood line for a standard schnauzer pup too Scotty. Hard part is keeping poo and schnau separate. Boyz this agent still out of country. I be supporting the cause as soon as I got my momma and a lady friend off the cooling board and stabbed in their slab.. ain’t no cry baby. It gets busy tho. I be back This grey beard who shared the postal driver story. Thanks 🙏🏻 you replied last time. I be putting a request for merch soon agents. Til then I remain under cover. My crew, my squad, as you were, carry on! Yupper this poop is still the same!
Long live the Poly. People call them wide block but that’s actually a misnomer . It was the heads and intake that were wide. Chicks dig the Fury and Dean needs all the help he can get. Stick with the plan. Cheers from Alabama.
Holy crap, man! And a runner *AND* driver, to boot! Are the pushbuttons for the trans selector operational, too? It's tough to tell the model without trim, but that's definitely a 1960 Dodge Dart - The platforms for the Darts and the entire Plymouth line for both 1960 and 1961 were virtually identical, so everything on the lower half right up to the cowl should slap right on to the '60 Fury. And, if that's a 318 poly like it looks, same goes for the engine - hell, if the Fury engine is good, you could still drop this Dodge engine in the Dodge Regent, Dodge Mayfair or Plymouth Savoy hardtops seamlessly, too. Looks like a 2-barrel, but, IIRC, that's still good for 230 horsepower as she sits - stock.
Great video Scott.. Love the Dodge but the Fury is such a great looking car .Great to see all the spares that came with it ...Looks like your having some great weather too.....The place looks really great in the sunshine ,time for a barby or two..Hope you have a lot of luck fixing up the Plymouth i am looking forward to seeing her fixed up, wish as usual i could give you a hand...Best of luck
The hardest part of this restoration was convincing Dean to let you chop up your own parts car. 😂🤣
Going back to the Future... This was an an essential buy because it made what the '60 Fury was to be ...a huge success!
Watching this and knowing how epic it turns out makes Dean's mourning the loss of the sedan even funnier...:)
This channel has grown on me like a fungus, and now I can't get enough.
It rose above the ashes with your help ! Very happy with the results :)

Frankers runs like she just invented running and is ready to file the patent paperwork. 😂
She already has scene stealing down to a science!
Typical big Poodles. 😄
I love just love Frankers *so much!* She’s an invaluable member of the team. The best moral support. Such exuberance in the Dodge design. Such optimism.

Frankers is a treasure! A playful puppy. I love seeing her!
I also love all the old cars. Looks like you guys have a good time with them.
I used to have an old Ford like that, bright yellow. We called it the prairie canary.
Good old 1970s Ford BROWN interior haha. I had a 78 Merc Grand Marquis Uncle Buck car circa 2001, awesomely hilarious car.
The ‘60 Fury still has very much of that Christine Appeal. It’s those fabulous fins!
Dear cwm. I hungered for a new video and was very happy receiving this.

So excited to see the transformation of the Plymouth into a fully functional car! I love what you guys do to keep these cars alive and kicking! You do amazing work saving them.
Thanks for the update on the merchandise order! Can't wait to get it! Thanks and God bless you!
I love watching you argue with Dean in this!
Holy moly, she starts and runs. Lots o'trunk goodies, too. The plot thickens....
I own a base model '78 Ford LTD. Nice to see another late 70s Ford LTD still kicking. Nice save Dean.
shamrice thanks I think there is another 8 of them here

You can definitely say it was running when parked! Cool car and should be a good donor car. Always nice to have when you undertake a major project.
Got my stuff the other day Love it! Can’t wait to see the fury take shape!
If I would have been lucky enough to be born in Canada in your neighorhood I would be standing there with Dean LOL. My favorite channel.
I haven’t had time to watch CWM videos lately, but immediately noticed the absence of Stella. So sorry to see that you have lost her. She was one classy lady and a beautiful girl.
Love Miss Frankers she is awesome! Looking forward to the fury!
Dean is driving a base model LTD from 1977. He's at the summit already enjoying the view and the wind in his hair.
I wonder if he still has the Century Custom.
Guys, stop encouraging him!
Ya I still have the Buick century . Poor thing was kind of forgotten about .. I don’t get rid of much lately
They can only go up in value.... perhaps.
I was waiting for Dean to highlight the "roof vents" as he walked around the car. Great channel Scott - love all the agents and their input to this channel. Frankers is a blast - lovely dog. Cheers on Canada Day! Chuck in Kansas
Utterly priceless nonsense, muchos gracias CWM.
Hey, Francine is certainly following in Stella's footsteps, what a character.

hey Scott,
Love everything you do, I have been a mopar fan since the first time i remember stumbling into my grandmothers garage and seeing the '59 Dodge coronet.
You've just made my Sunday afternoon 👍👍
Big Keg
Me too!
I wished I lived closer to you guys. I like to drink beer but I'm not pros like you guys. I really enjoy all your projects. Thanks for the videos!
So funny watching Frankers take herself for a run with the lead.
Every time I get on you tube and I see you have a new video I just get excited.
I have just bought a 1960 savoy 4 door 😊 i just had to. That thing is so awsome 😁👍
Great find! Above the standards of some of the rusty relics you have hauled home. Its a pity such a solid survivor has to become a donor but that Fury needs to get finished.
"everything we dreamed it would be" now that was perfect.
Looking promising for the Dart. Shirt has arrived in London, UK and looks pretty damn smart, thanks Scott!
I have a 61 Phoenix 4 door hard top and the sheet metal change between those two years was HUGE! Funny how the Dart was Dodge's way to get into the 'compact' market with a 118" wheelbase 😄

Can't deny that logical statment. I guess should of said 'smaller car market' to avoid all this confusion. That article did state the fact that it was the smaller domestics that they wanted a piece of that market. Yes the Lancer was a smaller rig during that time.

It looked like Francine was pulling up the car on the trailer right hand drive style! Love that steering wheel.
What an arm chair fantasy car . I already have it painted / with mags on it already . nice find Scott . Ray in Pa U.S.A.
You guys have entirely too much fun!
"What a spazz" ... the boundless energy is a wonder. What does it feel like? Frankendogger flies!!
Holy Frankers is getting big . as for the Dodge ...Do It !
I noticed unlike the 60 Fury, the 60 Dodge has the bird nest in the glove box delete option. Thanks to you, Frankers and the rest of the CWM gang for another great video, can't wait to see the Fury transformation.
Hey, thanks for the note... I also can't wait to rip into this one, but I have to finish a couple others first! Cheers...
I would love to see some in depth video of the cutting and splicing to build the Fury. Got my Cold War Motors shirt the other day and was impressed with the quality of it. Really nice. Thanks. Paul.
Dean sounds like a 6 yr. old in a toy store at Christmas time !
Shortest Will it Run Ever =)
Nice find!!

Yeah, leave that Ford stuff to moulder away a bit longer and get that Mopar on the road. :-)
I'd say a restored Plymouth Fury is going to be a little more desirable than a restored Dodge Dart, any day of the week, right?
yeah can't wait for more on the forward look :-)

Did anyone else notice that this car has factory cruise control! That's a rare option for 1960. To bad you need to cut it up.
Non-existent 8n 60 Dart. From a later MoPar.
Chrysler introduced the first cruise control on some 1958 models. Don't know if those looked like this one though.
Fury hardtop all the way!
Best quip at 15 min. This is like somebodies drunken uncle body work.:
I know a guy that had a 61 dart pioneer wagon it was cool and i loved the tail lights

Sweet ride, nice find.
Wow, that Dart body looks pretty good.
The comments on these videos just make me smile!
Can't wait to see how you go about cutting up the Dart and grafting it to the Fury! Thanks for the top notch entertainment...
on today's Deans Dirty Drinks we see him sipping the fine PBR. the dodge is a worthy sacrifice because the '60 fury will be the finest cold war motors vehicle ever. thanks again for the great videos scott
Chrysler did use that shade of blue on factory engines during those years. That push button torqueflite automatic tranmission is legendary for strength and dependability. Back in the day, a lot mopar streetracers used stock torqueflites.
Digging the videos. I'm a new viewer to your show and can't stop watching !! Was wondering about the t-shirts and stickers ? Keep up the good work !!
I like the roof and fins.
That Dean,he's a treat!
Dean "The crazy cat lady of shit-cars!" Hilarious one-liner!
I think me and dean could be good friends lol. I geek out the same way with old toyotas...
Props to Dean for 'Turning up the Base!'
Long live the Poly. People call them wide block but that’s actually a misnomer . It was the heads and intake that were wide. Chicks dig the Fury and Dean needs all the help he can get. Stick with the plan. Cheers from Alabama.
Is "Frankers" inhaling second-hand weed??
Seriously, I can't wait for the "cut and paste" episodes. This should be epic!
Boy, that front sure has that Edsel look!
Great donor car dean! Don't let anyone talk you out of it.
Nice find. Always entertaining!
Who would have thought you coould find a running driving parts car
Looks like you guys are having a lot of fun. Good for you!
Hey Scott, this looks like a car I found behind an old farmhouse. Plates say it was off the road in 1969. Although this car was a Dodge Phoenix.
8:16 "Great Scott!!!" I didnt know that i was in the presence of Royalty. And you releasing the hounds and taking your steed for a run!
