DIY Chicken Tunnel with Panic Box

- We live in the suburbs and have so many limits on our chickens. We keep them in a large run all the time. We are not allowed to free range them. We came up with a way to have a controlled sort of free range.
We made a tunnel then realized they would need a safe place or panic room incase a neighbors dog came to visit. We added water and voila, we have a roving salad bar for our chickens. We can put 2-3 in at a time. They love it!
In order to keep track of who has been in and who hasn't, we put ankle bracelets on them with numbers so that everyone gets a turn.
Here is a link to some angle tags (these are even already numbered!)...

Hey Penny, love that Mark is taking centre stage!😊Lucky chooks.
Hi Louise! I will tell him you said so. 😁 I hope you have a great week! ❤️
Love the Roving Salad Bar idea! ♥🐓
Thanks Shari! 😁
You might just sprinkle some corn or treat in the box end when you want them to come down there. Just a thought. That how I get my chickens to go where I need them. Nice job. Some good take away ideas.
Thanks, Mary! We have started putting some soldier fly larva down and they run right to them. I’m glad that you had some good take away ideas. We love being a help as much as we can. Blessings on your farm! 😁
