Is Civilization 3 good enough for 2024? Do we need civ 7? E22

Civilization 7 is in pre-order status. But if you feel like it is too expensive check out some of the old civilizations.
Here i have a lets play of civilization 3. In many peoples opinion this is one of
the best installments of civilization.

I always put a defensive unit or two in each city because that's what my dad would do when I was little. I know it's not the "correct" way to play but that's how I enjoy the game. I also dislike using air troops. Good vid
