I’ve tried so many things over the years and what I’ve had the most consistent results using is a clarifying shampoo 2x a week and a co-wash whenever I feel like washing in between (sometimes I don’t at all, sometimes I co-wash every day in between) and NEVER conditioner!! Only leave in product for conditioning. My hair never gets greasy, and it was impossible to train in the past
My roots are always oily but my hair is dry! Even curly hair shampoos can be SO drying. I bought a scalp scrub on Etsy, I hope it helps but I might try a scalp scrubber if I can find a cheap one. I bought a cowash bar too and I’m hoping it’s good X’D Tired of frizzy hair and oily roots!!
Thanks. I get greasy easily but want a shampoo without protein and coconut, etc. I was wondering if I could use the My Soigne cleanser in my low porosity, thick, coarse 2a hair.

Does a cowash wash day last as long for you as normal washing? Feels like for me it does not
I ordered the scalp scrubbing brush you have in your Amazon store. It is amazing! One use and I was hooked. It feels soooooo good when you are using it. I also use a co-wash weekly to clean my hair. The brush really does help get your scalp cleaner. Love that scalp brush!

I have wavy hair (2b/with a couple c strands) and I tend to have an oily scalp while the rest of my hair is soft, not dry. People love playing with my hair because it’s soft, but it gets kind of greasy by the second day, and I’m wondering if cowashing will make it more greasy?
I think its not going to make ur hair greasy...but just try it urself

Except scrubbing your scalp exacerbates oil production. So its squeaky clean after shampooing, big deal. What is it like the next day ?
Back when i used to cowash, it looked more clean and shiny on the second day lol. I have greasy hair too
The mechanical cleaning can’t be that good for the hair
You are only focusing mechanically on the scalp area. I only squeeze the cowash through the hair strands.
