This is by far one of the best guides easy to follow and detailed
I just realized. All the memoirs spots (or a majority of them at least) are the camera angle locations from the Monkey Island games.
big tip, he covers EVERYTHING don't touch or pick up anything unless he says it. Trust me he wont mention it but he will come back to it.
When it came to sitting in all the positions i found scumm bar door shut and locked, i had to jump onto the wharf outside the kitchen where you catch the fish. I also didnt get the spiffy comendation. Spoke to him for all six dialogues. Great guide for all the stuff i couldnt figure out though.
Man, I tried to do this all myself but could not figure out the memoirs, this guide helped me out, well put together, you got my sub
If the crate is not giving you the prompt to open it with the hammer, move the crate over a little bit more and has to be in the right spot on the dock
dont forget to cut the ropes underwater like an idiot (i did this and got stuck)
You need to move the crane ALL the way left and lowers the crane on to the dock as MUCH as you can

If you’re looking for the coins on the right side of scum bar there’s a spot he forgot to mention for a pouch, look for the oars on the wall and it’s in a crate beside them
Also if you can’t interact with the bedsheets try interacting with the window curtains first

Get all the Coins out of the church, before you fight the skelettons - there is a bug, that doesn't allow you to enter the church after the fight starts (even when the fight is finished)

@YooKay i did tall tale twice, i follow a lot of diffrent videos but i cant find 2 more coins. When tall tale over i have 198 coins all times. i cant solve this problem.
I had that same issue but after a lot of search, i found my 1 missing coin on top of a barrel. Sometimes the coin is there but it doesnt shine
If you lose Murray, he respawns at the Scumm Bar at the table next to the cook.
I really hate tall tales but your guides are amazing. Good job!

Since everything is so specific that you just cannot guess what you need to do next, it just get boring after running through the city for the fourth time. And I watched it all from this video and just applied, wasn't fun at all. But I liked it, was kinda funny

I got 4 coins instead of 5 on the first table in Scumm Bar. I ended up only getting 199 then and there is nothing I can do about it. They seriously need to fix that.

I started 3 times this journey BCS something Is wrong with the Pieces of eight, i miss 8 of them.
I purchased the chef vest for 45, and It left me with 10 coins . Add the 35 and 45 from scumm bar's thirsty pirates and the 17 on the clock tower and the 15 from Walt( the pirates eated by dogs ) and I have a Total of 122 coins, but I Need 130 if i want to buy both the fuses for 70 coins and the Monkey Toy for 60!!
Im getting Crazy, i love sot and Monkey Island, I want tò finish this journey so bad but in not figuring out what's missing .

I think I figured it out:
When you run around collecting the coins you need and get too close to the skeleton the cutscene will be triggered. If you don’t wait until it is finished you might break the mission.
If anybody starts talking, just let them finish before you walk away and everything should work out.

1:15 oeh you forgot this comendation.. you see that wanted poster in the right on a wall from this point, if you interact with that wanted poster it gives you a comendation

12:16 I don't know if I'm the only one to whom this part is absolutely glitched out. I fought off like 2 waves of them and no more are appearing, I've run around the whole island twice and can't find anymore of them, yet the battle music is still playing and the door to the shop is still closed. Horrendous game mechanic.
After over 20 minutes of searching, found a skeleton behind the bar. Why in the fuck he was there, I have no idea.
I had a few game breaking glitches twice. Once I lost the clock tower key for the second door, another time the skeleton was missing a bone that I grabbed. Redid it a third time and everything worked. Didn’t watch the guide until after though.

dude ive gone through this entire video for 45 minutes and i am still missing 5 coins and cant purchase the history book. I have looked at all possible locations and the only 5 coins I can think they are is the five from the bar but I have already gotten all pouches/stray coins in the bar. very confused now and mad i gotta do it again for the commendation

this is happening to me too.. ended up with 52 coins at this point and i rechecked every single spot. this is the second time this has happened, did you figure out what was wrong?
@@peanutbutterandjamwich For me i just did it wrong. Make sure your doing the steps right sorry. But i do remember doing something that fixed it. But that was forever ago.

When defeating the guad skeletons and my choice to stay to continue.. Scumm bar was closed for me so I could not complete the run.

@@wrongnumber9454 here's a workaround. Be sure you open the door in the kitchen when you have access to it. When finished and ready to talk to the dog, you can reach that door from the right side (small corner with the barrels) by jumping on the platform to the backdoor.
You have to make a small sprint or else you can't make the jump
use the backdoor of the kitchen :D

At 10 mins bro said head to the skeleton body where you'll be placing the head so I paused the video to do that when he said bring the head down the alley way. So let's just say I placed the head an cant pick it back up to bring it down the alley way😅

I didn’t collect the gold from the church and now it won’t they won’t spawn in after I progress the story, now I have to restart the whole damn thing!
When I tried to do this tale, it didn't send me to the island but back to the normal seas.
