[4K] pebble beach caressing the wave 파도가 어루만지는 몽돌해변 풍경, 전라남도 완도군 구계등(국가 명승 제3호)

This is Gugye-deung located in Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do, South Korea. The pebble beach stretched 800 meters along the panoramic coastline. Gugye-deung was designated as National Scenic Spot No.3 in 1972. 'Gu' means no.9 in Korean. Since ancient times, the number 9 has the meaning of being the largest in the East. Therefore, it means that there are the best things to see in Gugye-deung. There are also an interpretation that it is called Gugye-deung because the pebbles along the coastline form nine layers. 이곳은 전라남도 완도군 정도리에 위치한 구계등(九階燈)입니다. 크고 작은 조약돌이 탁 트인 해안선을 따라 800미터 길이로 뻗어 있습니다. 구계등은 1972년, 국가 명승 제3호로 지정된 바 있습니다. 예로부터 동양 문화는 숫자 9에 '최대'라는 의미를 담는 경우가 많았습니다. 이에 따라 구계등에는 최고의 볼거리가 있음을 뜻합니다. 해안선을 따라 펼쳐진 조약돌이 아홉개의 층을 이루고 있어 구계등이라 부른다는 해석도 있습니다.
