Not exactly. Corporations who wanted to use slave labor are the reason they moved to other countries and our country let it happen under once president Reagan, at that time the Republicans had the house and the senate and they crushed the unions so corporations could lower wages and take away benefits. It was also under that administrations where Student Financial Aid was cut and Student Loans were created. Along with that, they shut down the majority of mental institutions which is why we have so many mentally ill homeless. He also changed the law that no one, except a doctor can put a 72 hr. hold for mental health evaluation on someone and no mentally ill person living on the street is likely to even know to do that. Our country with unions benefits our people and we were once known as the top quality manufacturer in the world, everyone wanted to buy, American Made, because the products would last and so we sold a lot. I feel American corporations that have their products made in other countries should be taxed higher than they would have to pay to have those products made here. We all deserve a better quality life, not just the 1% who make their money off of our backs.
@@BunnyLang I was in the fashion industry. I watched how the Ladies Garment Workers Union priced themselves right out of the industry. They got to the point where they were charging by the stitch. There was no quality anymore and the greed on the part of the union was vociferous. Companies had no other choice but to find cheaper workers elsewhere. That was the 1970’s…and it was the beginning of the shift.

My experience goes back to the 80s when a family member was in the Teamsters Union, it worked out really well for him. Now a lot of truckers don't have a union and so they just fly down the highway because they have to get somewhere in a ridiculous timeframe. We've got to draw the line down the middle somehow because now it is the corporations that are spoiled by slave labor and they want the same here. I still back Unions. They can be run fairly if they have the right Steward.

If we get a Dem congress, they can tax corporations more and break up the monopolies. Competitive markets make for lower prices. Greedflation only happened because Trump’s tax cuts let corporations price gouge us.
Inflation is going down, and there is more to it than what people think. A great deal of it has to do with the oil companies not wanting to sell more oil and that raises the prices of everything because of transportation. It is not that they don't have the oil to sell, it is because by not selling it they make more money. Then, we have corporations taking advantage by price gouging. One person cannot make inflation go away because we live in a capitalistic country, this is why we are pushing for unions and why we want to keep the Affordable Health Care plan. If you are having trouble paying high health care, there are some programs that can help you, either Federal programs or State programs, depending upon where you live.
