00:33 - European Succes Ha ha ha... but this is true story! In 1632 during war between Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and Moscow Dutchy, the City of Smolensk was besieged by 30,000 Russians . Polish King Władysław IV Waza sent a volunteer to sneak into the city through the Russian camp with information that the rescue is near. This person performed the task and he entered the city disguised as.... a BUSH! As a reward, the King gave him nobility.
Why did he needed to be disguised as a bush? he could have just throw a rock to distract a guard and use this as his opportunity to enter the city and also, when hes discovered in that bush he doesnt run away or something, he just stays there and dies.
@@daru5002 The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth did not recognize the titles of either Tsar or Emperor of Russia. The official nomenclature continued to use the name Grand Duchy of Moscow for all of Russia. This "tsar" title was ridiculed in Poland and no one took it seriously which led to funny situations during the audience of Russian diplomats in Warsaw. BTW Polish King Władysław IV Waza was also Russian Tsar (1617-34). After war 1632-34, Moscovia paid 20.000 rubles for his resignation from this pretentious title.
Those soldier guys are very fond of stabbing things. This might have happened at least once. Soldier: *sees man under bush* Good man, what art thou doing? Phesant: I dropped my contacts. Soldier: *Stabby stab time"*
For those who don't know, Pocong is a indonesian ghost-creature. They are dead people apparation, dressed only in islamic burial shrouds. Gol look it up at google, for more clear info.
After reading about history of identity document, I have to question the Medieval 2 spy's intelligence about trying to be Solid Snake while infiltrating town or city. I mean, historically, identity document wouldn't be invented until you reached the end of the Medieval 2 timeframe! Spy can just waltz in, pretends to be traveler or something and the guards wouldn't be any wiser!
@@ShaDoW-uc7bn i misexpressed. İ ve scenes tho i dont have detailed ones such as assasin dropping rock from bridge, assasin killing pope( i only see snake to bed for all attemps) i also miss some spy cutscenes. 😪
I love it how they made a Middle East one as well as a European one, it’s a really good feature
Stealth Level: Solid Snake
Snake
Even solid snake has more stealth level than this spy

Cool! I didn’t know that.
In 1632 there was no Moscow Duchy, Russia had already unified and officially had become a Tsardom.

Yikes... fixed!
What about videos for using spies in the Americas?
Is there any videos for them? I could not find anything in the game files.
I like how the automatic reaction to someone being in a bush is to stab them to death without asking questions lol
0:23 Give that guard a pay rise! He's so good he manages to stab the spy *before* he jabs him with the spear.
Yeah, the audio is unfortunately out of sync. I don’t know if it’s my fault or the game’s. Either way I can’t be bothered to fix it.
These cutscenes are pure nostalgia
Yes, this legendary game would have never been made today!
2:50 wtf
Yeah, They are pretty blind ^^
They used the same animations and only changed the backgrounds.
@@ShaDoW-uc7bn It's not like their helmets would limit their vision that much.

It’s a shame!
We don't deserve them😂
youd watch it once then just skip it
@@gravytrain2027 My money says the opposite
Shogun 2 already had them.
Lets be honest, this guy is an absolute fucking unit.
Opinion: Each Total War game they release, a feature is removed because they know ultimately we will buy it.

old games are the best games
Absolutely! Most of the time at least :)
A huge wall but the gate is left open, there is no moat and there is only one guard lol
Truly an impenetrable fortress
I like how the first stamp is called "european failure". I'm gonna call my spyes that name when they don't succeed as an european civ.
6:22 "Ohre!" love that they added this classic European greeting.

Guard: Huh?...Arrggh!!
8:57 " lol is u ded ?"
The Arabic city design looks fire
How did he manage to disable a guard in full plate with a blunt object, without denting his armour?
it was an inside job
I hope that halberdier got promoted.
Does anyone know how to re-enable them? I was told about editing a data file but I don't know which one.
I hope bro got a paternity test
Good old time
Recycled character animations REEEEEE
My spy keep getting murdered lol
I felt old
