+Mathmachine Yogg can be used as a pseudo borad clear + card draw plus potential upside. It's the only old god that isn't a win condition
At 17:12 he actually would have lost even with ice barrier. It would have activated before the ice block could, putting him at 12 health. The hit from the arcanite reaper would have brought him down to 7 health, and the 7 damage fatigue would have finished the job.
I don't see ANY competitive Y'Shaarj decks anywhere :/ I'll see what I can do

I'll seriously watch kripp at 1.25 speed from now on. Didn't even notice the difference the whole video, also HS animations are gigantic and kripp speaks so slowly so its just saving time. Love it!

I had the same thing happen to me when I was about to win; except after Doom, it kept going, and ended with call of the wild. Yep, I was toast after that. So much for my doomsayer on an empty board.
How to renounce darkness with yog. Step 1 be sure when you use yog you have 1 mana left. Step 2 forbidden ritual is activated.Step 3 vanish is activated . And the last step renounce darkness . Congrats now you have flame lance

I had N'Zoth in my last Arena Rogue. did pretty well although i only had Sludge Belcher and Polluted Hoarder

N'Zoth is amazing but still have a lot of love for the others. Definitely fav expansion so far.

He's wrong about yogg. I've been using a "yogg" tempo mage, and its very competitive. He's assuming that if you have yogg in your deck you're just trying to play as many spells as possibly to play yogg, which is wrong. You have a lot of spells, yes, but Yogg is your last ditch, back against the wall, hail Mary, when you're opponent has a clear advantage. You more often than not clear the board, and draw, which can be enough to revive your status in the game. Yes, just playing yogg to play yogg is inconsistent at best, but if you play him with discretion, He, in one card, can totally save a game.

+Atlas Even Varian Wrynn is used sparingly as most cards net their distribution to a power effect; the more powerful ones at current standing being Battlecries and Deathrattles (Examples: N'Zoth, C'Thun, Sylvanas, and Tyrion)
There is a definite potential for Y'Shaarj having a slot in a Shaman deck looking towards the future;
That is to say, if more Overload cards are released that don't rely on a Battlecry effect; as they would be played with board impact, and whilst bypassing the overload handicap normally placed on Shaman.
TL;DR
If more cards like Flamewreathed Facless are printed for Shaman, don't be surprised if cards like Y'Shaarj and Faceless Manipulator start popping up in constructed; also worth noting: there would be a potential for Faceless Shambler getting play, though I'd expect Sunfury Protector or Defender or Argus to be the standard inclusions for that type of deck.

I highly agree, this set is amazing. The only set i would put above it has to be Naxx as i feel that the standard format has helped WOG shine a bit but would be almost as fantastic and impactful without.
+Arthur Houchin Prior to WOTG the best expansion was definitely Nax; though I'd infer that because of Kel'Thuzad and Loatheb both being really interesting and in certain positions would completely seal out a match when played.

Yogg is my favorite and running it in hunter has never cost me a game. It has failed to help me win and it's even won me a good number of games. Otherwise I don't run him until i really need to.

see the thing is, you can currently play Ancient Shieldbearer and gain the armor without playing C'Thun in the deck. she will trigger as long as C'Thun is suppose to have 10 attack

Cthun is a player buff,its not buffing any one card.

it's a player buff that is applied to the card because you can see it listed, but is negated by other abiltites that applies after it

N'zoth It's like baron and KT in one.
Baron since they get to play their deathrattles twice

It just occurred to me that we got C'thun in Wow for free too, no expansion needed unlike Yogg and Y'shaarj.
you don't need to have c'thun in your deck to buff him up and use the other cards effects

For me Old Gods was the first real expansion for Hearthstone. Most of the cards are good enough to make it into a deck and the effects are awesome. The old gods themselves really change the way the game plays out and can turn the game around in the later stages. GvG was unbalanced, TGT fell flat on it's face with only a few good cards and the joust mechanic was too unpredictable and often. If Blizzard keeps it up I think HS will have a bright future.

I seriously I see a lot of people overestimating the Old God's power even to the point of Pantheon Titan levels. Anyone with a little bit of common sense would know Old Gods are really powerful but they are nothing compare to the big shots like *Sargeras, Kil'jaeden*, the *Legion* and the *Pantheon*. I honestly think Kil'jaeden, *Archimonde*, and even *Algalon* are stronger that a Old God and they are nothing compare to pantheon level Titans and Sargeras. Chronicle made it very clear that the Panthon like Sargeras are far more powerful that the Old Gods but the Old Gods are not powerful, I mean they always depend on their minions to do something and they can merely put a fight against anyone. Even before they were imprisoned they always depend on their minions to do their dirty work like defeat the *Elemental Lords* and fight the *Titans Keepers*.
The Old Gods could not control the Elementals Lords, they slave them because their minions defeat them with their huge-numbers and *Deathwing* was never under the Old Gods control, he decide to work with them with his own freewill to serve them as the inner-voices of the Old Gods convinced him that, he could have power beyond his imagination if he served them when he could easily decide to ignore them but nope, he follow them. The fact that Deathwing during his conversation with *Thrall* when Thrall was going to become the new Earth-Warder, Deathwing admitted that he served the Old Gods largely because he believed that they would free him from this burden as a Earth-Warder. If the Old Gods could control anyone why they not stop the "Heroes" aka the player during their fight with them? Or prevent their imprisoned?
Old Gods have been whispering to the sub-consciousness of mortal and eternal beings alike, urge them to do dark, terrible things. The Old Gods encountered by adventurers to date have whispered to them throughout the fights imploring the heroes of Azeroth to turn on their allies and give in to loneliness and despair but with not effect showing that the Old Gods have not power over someone minds but the Old Gods speak gibberish. Nevertheless the Old Gods are neither omniscient nor omnipotent otherwise, of course, the Old Gods could not have been imprisoned. The reasons why some of you people like the idiot of *Jared 42* say Old Gods are the strongest or badass when they clearly are not is because they are *big Lovecraft fans* or *they are way too fanatic* or *they are close-minders*. The fact that the Old Gods could not put a fight against anyone is a statement that the Old Gods are weak against anyone and all they can do is send their pointless whispering to convince others to do bad thing to others.
I didn't get the Old Gods hype and don't get me wrong, the Old Gods are interesting villains, but the legion and other villains are ten time better that the Old Gods. The Old Gods are the most overrated villain ever in Warcraft series and they can not put a fight and they lack of any leadership skill. At least the Legion, Lich King and Garros know how to fight and they have better leadership which is why they make better villains that the Old Gods since they are not Mary Sue like the Old Gods.

i play malygos rogue and im about done with this game...i keep facing nzoth decks and keep losing and i lose to aggro decks like zoolock and aggro shaman...how do i counter this?
u counter zoo with dark iron skulker. shaman.... u just pray. and nzoth decks just try to hit face more and put vanish in your deck it could buy you some time to set up a maly combo
