That was a pretty amazing Yogg at the end. Shadow madness for opponent's minion, charge for his Yogg, and then evolve to keep opponent's minion without messing up Yogg's attack. Yogg wasn't evolved since it's 10 mana and there's no 11 mana minion to evolve into.

Yogg costs 10, Evolve makes it into a minion of +1 mana cost. SInce there's no minion with 11 mana cost, nothing happens.

No, he didn't. For this type of deck you either want to keep spells for the lock and load or to keep them so that you don't fck yourself when you play Yogg, or he just didn't want to play it because only a noob would use a card for no reason.
No cause he could use it for lock and load later after the thaurisan discount
low cost cards such as tracking have like perfect synergy with lock and load. if you dont really need a card to track, or you already have what you need in your hand, you can consider saving such spell for lock and load

It was because he drew those cards before he played on the hunt. He played it while the animations were queued up.
Yogg Saron, Hope's End: Battlecry: Draw your entire deck, clear the board and lose.
@Kripp, if you're going with Malygos in Hunter, you are ought to put Snipe on it, though Freezing is good, but that's already a staple one, they woudn't see Snipe coming. And Snipe is good in late game, when they can't kill your Malygos with spells, the will try heavier minions. And with Snipe dealing 9 damage to it. KABOOM! On my 10 games with this deck, I got 7 out of 10. Not bad huh?
How'd you use thaurissan in standard?
how does charge target yogg, while evolve doesn't affect it, either it is on the field before the spells or it isnt...... What the hell is that interaction????

yogg and other 10 cost minions don't evolve because there's no 11 cost minion for them to become

I feel this deck would do a little better in wild, with the addition of Mad Scientist. I played Freeze mage in both standard and wild and found the wild format one having more success, thanks to easier early game and netting secrets for free. This could do the same really well.

There is no 11 cost minion to evolve the yogg into.
Evolve does not work on minions cost >9 mana as there is no 11 mana minions
but evolve works on 11 mana minions because the mountain giant is 12 mana.

The joust does trigger, you can see the opponent's card get revealed. The deck fizzling is his result for the joust since by the time it's triggering there are no minions left to reveal. The same can happen in reverse, if the opponent has no minions and you do their deck fizzles and you automatically win any jousts.

Yogg doesn't evolve because it's already at 10 mana. Evolve changes your minions into new ones that are 1 mana cost higher. Since 11 mana isn't possible, all 10 mana minions stay the same.
