The metallic thread drove me crazy so I often cut foil cardstock and use regular floss for stitching.

Sometimes it splits at the end making it challenging to thread the needle, but usually if I cut a fresh end and squeeze the end together with my teeth (lol) I can get it to thread! But foil cardstock with regular floss looks amazing too!
