I’m fairly new to watching quilting RUclips channels and had never heard of these advent boxes before. I like watching everyone’s unboxings and really appreciate the honest comments about the items. Wow Missouri Star has upped their game. The 2 I had gotten in the past didn't even come close to being worth the price I paid. Maybe I'll get one next year. Martelli Box WOW!!!! Really worth it. They were all very nice Advent boxes so glad you shared the opening of these boxes. Enjoy all your Goodies. :)
Hello, the Acrylic Bolt Holder looks like a template. And yes, you peel off the tan backing of it. I've bought a few of their Rulers, and I always have to peel off the backing. However, i don't see measurements on it. So you probably wrap fabric around it. It's a super cute template thingy. Love this video btw.
I am currently opening the stitch supply company advent box so I won't be watching this video until next month. I can't wait. So far I have not been disappointed. This is the second year that I have bought this box. It's great because I can recycle it and I filled last year's box with things for my daughter and granddaughter and gave it to them for an advent filled with candy and makeup and stickers and things that they like.
Yes ...I am loving the Stitch box...so many great things in it!!! I was thinking of re using the little boxes too...so much fun...Definitely come back in a month...
The button jar has buttons for the pillow. They go together. Great video. I enjoyed seeing all of the boxes. I don't buy them because there's too much in them that I wouldn't use so I don't see the value for the money. But I do like the Ginger Box.

I'm trying to down size; and, I am also trying to organize everything I am keeping. Right now I don't need more stuff to try to add in and organize. I want to see my sewing room, not just a path through it. However, it has been a lot of fun looking at all the new goodies you showed us.

The free pattern from ginger quilter has a code on it for a free $12 pattern. The QR code just takes you to the pen and paper website and you were viewing their current promotion on the web banner, not affiliated with the box. If that was factored in, the box would be in the green on value, woohoo!

When I finish with Jenny's Countdown to Christmas box I will come back and watch that part, but I really loved see them all at once! Oh what fun! Lots of great goodies. For the acrylic bolts, there is a layer of paper that should be peeled off. I have purchased acrylic blanks and they have that on them. I think it is to prevent scratching the acrylic.

I could not afford a box this year I really enjoyed looking at everything last year I ordered Jenny`s box but I am in Canada but the exchange on the dollar and shipping was crazy expensive I really enjoyed it because it was my first and maybe last advent calendar I ever had thank you so much😍🥰🥰
Looks like Martelli box had the most bang for the buck, but I can't be sure because you sort of petered out on showing everything there at the end. Unfortunately, their boxes sell out in the summer, so you have to be sharp to snag one. Thank you for reviewing all of these and sharing the goodies with all of us who didn't get any advent boxes this year. Also - can you turn down the volume on the music? It's hard to hear you or maybe it's distracting. I was really focusing hard to see all the treasures you were revealing!
Mmm…not enough fabric in so many of the calendars (apart from stash ones). And rather a lot of stuff I’ve got or wouldn’t be excited to get. Wouldn’t be tempted by any given the high prices. The Open Gates is only one I’ve seen from last year that looks gd - not reviewed here. Thank you for such a gd vlog.
Just a heads up. If you ever purchase one of those little folding mirrors for fussy cutting fabric for a neat looking quilt pattern. The mirror also has protective covering on the face of the mirror. Makes you think at first the mirror sucks. Just remove the clear protection off the mirror. Good to go then. Taa Daa

On the acrylic bolts you remove the brown part! It’s a pain to get off but it’s on there to help protect it from scratching in shipping!

You peel that brown paper off the acrylic holders. They do most of their rulers and templates that way. Most if the stuff was really nice

I thought they were all good but I believe I have to say Missouri Star Quilt Co., Martelli's and Stitch & Supply Co., had to be my absolute favorites!😍😍😍 I really enjoyed how you laid them all out and went through each of the boxes and the individual items and then gave your opinion of them. Oh what fun! Lots of great goodies. For the acrylic bolts, there is a layer of paper that should be peeled off. I have purchased acrylic blanks and they have that on them. I think it is to prevent scratching the acrylic.

Tracy the paper on the acrylic bolt does come off. They had rulers with the same backing. It’s hard to start peeling

Yes, I have purchased rulers from MSQC and they come with the paper on them. It does come off but is hard to get it started.

Looks like Martelli box had the most bang for the buck, but I can't be sure because you sort of petered out on showing everything there at the end. Unfortunately, their boxes sell out in the summer, so you have to be sharp to snag one.
Thank you for reviewing all of these and sharing the goodies with all of us who didn't get any advent boxes this year. Also - can you turn down the volume on the music? It's hard to hear you or maybe it's distracting. I was really focusing hard to see all the treasures you were revealing!

Mmm…not enough fabric in so many of the calendars (apart from stash ones). And rather a lot of stuff I’ve got or wouldn’t be excited to get. Wouldn’t be tempted by any given the high prices. The Open Gates is only one I’ve seen from last year that looks gd - not reviewed here. Thank you for such a gd vlog.
Just a heads up. If you ever purchase one of those little folding mirrors for fussy cutting fabric for a neat looking quilt pattern. The mirror also has protective covering on the face of the mirror. Makes you think at first the mirror sucks. Just remove the clear protection off the mirror. Good to go then. Taa Daa
