- In today's video I show my new kayak the Old Town Sportsman 106 PDL. I tell you all my first impressions on the kayak. We launch the kayak and fish it, luckily the bite was good on today's outing. Looks like you don't have the drive put into the kayak correctly? That bar should be in the kayak when it's being used. The way it is at the end of your video in your garage is how it is supposed to be the whole time.
I was wondering about that
I watched a video on it and you are correct the bar does stay on top and I have to pull the pedal drive down, I had a feeling something was wrong thanks for the heads up.
@@reelshooting That should stop it's wiggle it was doing back and forth. Pretty sweet it performed so well just sitting in there though
@@ichabod13 exactly i noticed the wiggle and im like hmm that doesnt seem right. I ran out to check it out and yea you just pull on it thanks for that.
now I had to sub just to see how you really like it at your next try! And nice to see some videos of them in wind, here in KS it's nothing but wind
If my first time on a fishing kayak was that windy, i might have sold it when i got home. your more adventurous than I am. Nice yak brother!
Haha believe me the kayak is very stable and was able to handle that wind.
@@reelshooting Not so much about stability but fighing the wind to keep your position to fish.
@@DrinkWetPoopFishing that was getting tricky but I did order an anchor to help with that. Also the following day did have less wind, video coming soon.
