The thing I love most is the amazing example it set for her daughter and how she was able to see exactly what to do in a situation she’s not being treated properly. Modeling first hand not being afraid to walk away from ANYbody no matter the “power” position they play and I love that that daughter got to see that and it will impact how she handles things like that in the future if she doesn’t get it in the moment🎉👏👏

I was bullied alot over my body and when i got SA'd and some other stuff, i developed a body dismorphia. I hated my body for 4 years and im just now getting to the point where i actually like myself. I dont cry bc my weight is over 120 anymore. I dont wrap plastic wrap around my thighs and stomach anymore. I dont suck in my belly. I dont stare at my body in the mirror and shame myself for it. I learned to accept it and express it. Its mine and its beautiful ❤️
So let me tell you, this mom is amazing. I've been through it so I understand when you hate your body. But your body is your body, so who cares if someone else doesn't like it. You are you and you are perfect.
If the world wont change for you, then dont change yourself for the world. You are worth so much more than that.

You could tell Presleys mom was trying to help Abby realize that what she’s doing is not ok but when Abby said, “right so I have to camouflage those things” that was the last straw for her and she was not going to put up with Abby telling Presley things that aren’t true about her body because Presley could start believing in those things. I think Presleys mom did the right thing

@@gracie_lou08 Watch Presley at the end. She was literally begging her mom to let her stay. That's just difficult for both of them. I'm not sure about the psychology behind it, but somehow, victims will suffer from a traumatic situation, and still want to involve themselves with what caused their trauma. And Presley's mother has to somehow make a decision that will be best for her daughter when *this* is what Abby left her with?
      Preposterous. Absolutely preposterous.

Honestly this show was heartbreaking to watch. As someone who used to be a dancer, I had the WORST experience. Getting body shamed, bullied, gaslighted, and worn out because they over worked me so I could be "better" even though I was top of my class. I had to quit because I got so sick from dancing 24/7, and my immune system has been shit since. They even thought I was faking my illness..... I loved dancing, and I still do, but I feel how those poor girls feel. Dancing is their passion, but it's being ruined for them.
