    That looks pretty awesome. I own Wacom cintiq 22 FHD, it's hard to find 4k tablet when looking at the prices. Wacom 24 pro that is 2,5k. To find this priced 4k display it's miracle. Can't wait to buy my own for Christmas present. 🎁😁 Great review this really helped, before purchasing.👍

    Hey Dansky, awesome video!. Could you tell me if the touch mode allows you to control the screen as a touchable monitor? I mean this mode is only for gestures or you can for example use it to navigate in Windows menus, browsers... Do you know what I mean? I want to use one of these screens not just for drawing. If this X-pen can not work like that, do you know another pen display that can operate as a touchable monitor? I would really aprecciate your help on this. Thanks!!!

    Just wanted to clarify real quick, the explanation of parallax isn't quite right. A lag is just a lag. Parallax is when you put the pen on the screen and the underlying cursor "appears" somewhere else where it is not expected. For example if you look in an odd angle you see the thickness of the glass/display, a calibration issue, etc. so the actual cursor appears "optical" somewhere else.
    Sidenote: Lags can happen if the brush is complex or really big and caused mostly by the cpu not keeping up with the calculations. Input lags are a different story tho...

    This was a delight of a video to watch. I'm currently debating between this one and the XP-Pen Artist Pro 16 for work and am having trouble making up my mind!
    Also, I like that the pen (finally? hopefully?!) stayed still in the last shot. 😂

    If you had to choose between this and an iPad which would you go with. I use photoshop for illustrations. 🙂

    • @ForeverDansky
      @ForeverDansky  2 года назад +1

      Aha I sold my iPad, as it just doesn’t fit with how I like to work using the native desktop apps and their full functionality. iPad’s are great though, especially if you’re someone who likes to design on the go without cables etc ✌️

    • @Ivyharlet
      @Ivyharlet 2 года назад

      @@ForeverDansky thank you! I'm debating/waffling. lol I have heard great things about the 16TP but am pondering the iPad so I can maximize my creative time since I have a long bus commute. I thought an iPad might be a good option since I write and illustrate. Either that or get the 16TP for home and the Freewrite Traveler for the commute. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    • @Ivyharlet
      @Ivyharlet 2 года назад

      Actually, how long is the power cable on the 16TP?

    I can’t believe that I have never seen these “tablets” before, I ended up buying a old 10.5” iPad Pro to use as a drawing tablet and it works fine if you don’t mind having to use the software that come for iPads, but I miss photoshop…. 😢
    If I knew about this xp pen tab I would have much rather have gone for this, guess I have to start saving up again so I can get one of these tabs. Thanx for the video, wish I saw it about a year ago though.

    How did you find the display with light and reflections as it doesn't have a mat finish. Im stuck between this one and the Huion Kamvas Pro 16 (4k)

    • @ForeverDansky
      @ForeverDansky  3 года назад +2

      Hey Max, most of the time I was sitting at my desk that is next to a big window, and the amount of reflection wasn't something that ever bothered me to be honest. The display is anti-glare, and whilst the glass surface is quite reflective, when using Photoshop at max brightness for example, it didn't get in the way of what I was doing. I haven't used the Huion tablet so can't make a direct comparison, but hopefully the above is at least a little bit helpful 🙂

    • @lukecsuarezartistry8568
      @lukecsuarezartistry8568 3 года назад

      In terms of resolution and color accuracy it is better than the Wacom Cintiq 16, it's direct competitor. As for latency and response time it is hard to say since everywhere I look I cannot find a response time for the Xp Pen TP's screen. But if you are comparing it to the best Wacom has to offer ( Cintiq Pro series 32&24) then I would say no, I use the cintiq pro 24 and it feels way more responsive and accurate than any XP Pen tablet that I have used.

    • @lukecsuarezartistry8568
      @lukecsuarezartistry8568 3 года назад

      @@coacollective691 that's actually not entirely true, specifications can really go a long way. I used a Cintiq pro 16 for quite a while and loved it, it had very good response time, resolution and accuracy. But then I decided to test the XP Pen 22e Pro to see how it compares to Wacom, and it was actually kind of a dissapointing experience. The screen had a slow response time, the lines were wobbly at times, and the colors were washed out. It's best to think of these tablets as "devices with specifications" because if the response time of the screen is 20ms or higher it's going to feel aweful to draw on.

    • @thawizard5947
      @thawizard5947 2 года назад

      @@lukecsuarezartistry8568 I was comparing this with Wacom cintiq 16 pro, the one with 4k. I think thats more correct comparison? Wacom one is super expensive . Im leaning towards the xp pen artist 16 pro TP but Im worried of both, wobbly lines/jitter and if they dont fade well as in the end of the line has this shoe lace effect some has complained about. Im not sure if its configurable and fixable.
