I've had to stop playing due to arthritis in my hands and fingers, but I still listen to all genres of music every single day, from morning till night (I'm retired and live alone). I truly enjoy Coldplay, and just about every song they've written and especially when it's performed live! Sometimes lyrics are meant to be ambiguous, giving every person the opportunity to ‘understand’ and interpret them as they wish. They aren't meant to be dissected! Music is ‘food for the soul’, which makes it so wonderful! When I listen to any piece by any performer, I have the ability to remember each and every word after hearing it played once, including the style of the artist's playing. For example, if you watch him play the piano you can see how he keeps time and rhythm by using his chair that rocks back and forth. They didn't have anything like this when I was younger, and I think it's a great invention - I had to sit on a bench and play, and it hurt my butt like hell after a while!

I’m 34 now. I saw them when I was 17. Parachutes and A Rush of Blood to the Head are two of my favourite albums. The fact that I got to see so many of those tunes off those albums live, I consider myself so lucky. What a band and what a fucking show I witnessed. I didn’t realize at the time what I was actually seeing. Forever glad I made that decision to buy those tickets. I also miss being young haha.

Since I'm a piano man my daughter says she grew up loving piano and she loves how Yellow starts out with piano. Paul McCartney said his dad was in a band, why he grew up loving piano, too. My dad played piano, I luckily have the piano his father bought in 1920 when my dad was age 5. Just spent 24/7 giving morphine to him for his pain, he pass age 98.
I couldn't attend this concert as planned but heard it live on antic radio :) Short story long : After many years of fighting depression, and in the end helping actively some people facing it, things were looking better. For once I met a girl from online monthes or years chatting, that turned in some few weeks romance IRL, no pressure we were over our 30's after all, we had planned to see Coldplay in Paris, I had done before that crazy things like in movies, after years of not buying CDs I got us 2 copies of Mylo Xyloto, with slightely different covers..., ok not crazy romantic teen, just a cool project why not... Well I had to move, quit all my habits, the girl eventually switched from cool-no-pressure-patch bf to another long-term-more serious one, yeh I still felt a little bit down, later that thought-overcame depression was back for a few more times, now I think it's gone for good, well on a romantic point of view anyway, life has still so many ways to be shit, but well... Still had my stuffed packed, so I listened it on "antic" stereo from my dad on live radio, very good sound tho, much better than on YT I'm afraid.. Oh yes I remember those times well, even if now i'm not so obsessed with time and memories so much (there is so many things to do), I guess when later tied in an empty blank room with nothing else to do than think, what do you mean sleep ?, u could think it strengthens the feels and memories but I think it was just the former me, the "sick" one since society wants it that way, anyway all I had available was a few books and I didn't feel the strength to unpack the rest, when the concert ended, I tried to sleep, watched a lightning storm, failed to get pics of that (maybe I was waiting for texts answers, maybe I texted too much, maybe I did all that weeks earlier) and went through the whole Green Mile book for some reason, I had kept it all these years without reading the book I had seen the movie already, pretty sure the girl had influenced me to read it (we might have rewatched the movie together and she told me the book was better), however getting 1 hour sleep after 3 days I woke up to learn Coffey had got his ticket for the island for real this time... Myself I felt tired too of all that hate everywhere, especially hate born for stupid reason and / or misunderstanding, tired of trying to fix it all, maybe I could get some rest too... Anyway I finally saw them live later, man they f'd up every of my favorite songs, the new ones were well performed, especially the scenic presence, and smaller concert meant they were much closer to the crowd. Still got my VIP customized pass, actually got it back from the bin where my parents helped me with some unrequested cleaning after I was - last time for sure - getting professional medical help, damn it was so boring with my prev self dead, what can u do when you don't need to know everysinglebody around and help them by some mean.. In the bin for fsake!, when I plan to use it to unleash my soon forgotten memories of that girl, the last I will ever know for sure, tadada I know these things, I can now safely endorse my nickname again, and it will be soon 10 years of proof, maybe I was in love with the love since like many (I think) I get from the lyrics what I want, I'm not sure what the story of that song is really here, seems like a person died or whatever when you read it without music, or having a baby ?? guessing it's always better with a positive hidden sense ?? But I drove all night once for that girl, almost in a crazy Cyndi Lauper mode. I even drove for one hour, had my only flat tire ever, looked at the yellow stars was it a sign?, impossible to change the tire with the security screw, came back, took another car, fought against sleep on the road, which is not cool as an insomniac, I shouldn't write that, but I think I felt asleep 3 or 4 times driving including a big scary one, slept 5 min on an highway area, was woken by guards like in many Stephen King's books, back driving. Went out home at 9PM in snowy winter, a wonderful starry night, I drove across (all France) for you, and it was worth it :) at 2PM when I reached her, the sun was so bright and my eyes so tired, everything was yellow. (You don't put that in the bin dammit!) Long story short : 1, 2, 3 yuup, I actually don't think she knows I loved her so... Let's fucking finish on a bright note. I was feeling orange at that very time of my life, and this was new. Felt a bit cool, like on the edge cool, could go red, yeh traffic lights. For the story let's say that that orange was more like a yellow fruit rippening. Yellow might use to be your favorite color too ? I sure answered that a lot as a kid. It doesn't have a good conotation on many psy tests (money, egocentrism, wtf?), and that song sure unturnish that a little. Ofc then sadness comes one day in life and everything is blue, blue sounds cool, blue jeans cool, depression seemed it could last as a fashion for many more decades, scarily enough new generation seem so positive that they don't understand rock music for instance, not sure that fact is cool but sure depression is ugly. So you could light (and lighter) your blue, like from a deep night sky to a cartoon blue one, with big yellow stars, that would suit perfectly a wizzard hat in my opinion, and sparkle some yellow around you *

Since I'm a piano man my daughter says she grew up loving piano and she loves how Yellow starts out with piano. Paul McCartney said his dad was in a band, why he grew up loving piano, too. My dad played piano, I luckily have the piano his father bought in 1920 when my dad was age 5. Just spent 24/7 giving morphine to him for his pain, he pass age 98.

I couldn't attend this concert as planned but heard it live on antic radio :)
Short story long : After many years of fighting depression, and in the end helping actively some people facing it, things were looking better. For once I met a girl from online monthes or years chatting, that turned in some few weeks romance IRL, no pressure we were over our 30's after all, we had planned to see Coldplay in Paris, I had done before that crazy things like in movies, after years of not buying CDs I got us 2 copies of Mylo Xyloto, with slightely different covers..., ok not crazy romantic teen, just a cool project why not... Well I had to move, quit all my habits, the girl eventually switched from cool-no-pressure-patch bf to another long-term-more serious one, yeh I still felt a little bit down, later that thought-overcame depression was back for a few more times, now I think it's gone for good, well on a romantic point of view anyway, life has still so many ways to be shit, but well... Still had my stuffed packed, so I listened it on "antic" stereo from my dad on live radio, very good sound tho, much better than on YT I'm afraid.. Oh yes I remember those times well, even if now i'm not so obsessed with time and memories so much (there is so many things to do), I guess when later tied in an empty blank room with nothing else to do than think, what do you mean sleep ?, u could think it strengthens the feels and memories but I think it was just the former me, the "sick" one since society wants it that way, anyway all I had available was a few books and I didn't feel the strength to unpack the rest, when the concert ended, I tried to sleep, watched a lightning storm, failed to get pics of that (maybe I was waiting for texts answers, maybe I texted too much, maybe I did all that weeks earlier) and went through the whole Green Mile book for some reason, I had kept it all these years without reading the book I had seen the movie already, pretty sure the girl had influenced me to read it (we might have rewatched the movie together and she told me the book was better), however getting 1 hour sleep after 3 days I woke up to learn Coffey had got his ticket for the island for real this time... Myself I felt tired too of all that hate everywhere, especially hate born for stupid reason and / or misunderstanding, tired of trying to fix it all, maybe I could get some rest too...
Anyway I finally saw them live later, man they f'd up every of my favorite songs, the new ones were well performed, especially the scenic presence, and smaller concert meant they were much closer to the crowd.
Still got my VIP customized pass, actually got it back from the bin where my parents helped me with some unrequested cleaning after I was - last time for sure - getting professional medical help, damn it was so boring with my prev self dead, what can u do when you don't need to know everysinglebody around and help them by some mean..
In the bin for fsake!, when I plan to use it to unleash my soon forgotten memories of that girl, the last I will ever know for sure, tadada I know these things, I can now safely endorse my nickname again, and it will be soon 10 years of proof, maybe I was in love with the love since like many (I think) I get from the lyrics what I want, I'm not sure what the story of that song is really here, seems like a person died or whatever when you read it without music, or having a baby ?? guessing it's always better with a positive hidden sense ??
But I drove all night once for that girl, almost in a crazy Cyndi Lauper mode. I even drove for one hour, had my only flat tire ever, looked at the yellow stars was it a sign?, impossible to change the tire with the security screw, came back, took another car, fought against sleep on the road, which is not cool as an insomniac, I shouldn't write that, but I think I felt asleep 3 or 4 times driving including a big scary one, slept 5 min on an highway area, was woken by guards like in many Stephen King's books, back driving.
Went out home at 9PM in snowy winter, a wonderful starry night, I drove across (all France) for you, and it was worth it :) at 2PM when I reached her, the sun was so bright and my eyes so tired, everything was yellow.
(You don't put that in the bin dammit!)

I was feeling orange at that very time of my life, and this was new. Felt a bit cool, like on the edge cool, could go red, yeh traffic lights.
For the story let's say that that orange was more like a yellow fruit rippening.
Yellow might use to be your favorite color too ? I sure answered that a lot as a kid.
It doesn't have a good conotation on many psy tests (money, egocentrism, wtf?), and that song sure unturnish that a little.
Ofc then sadness comes one day in life and everything is blue, blue sounds cool, blue jeans cool, depression seemed it could last as a fashion for many more decades, scarily enough new generation seem so positive that they don't understand rock music for instance, not sure that fact is cool but sure depression is ugly.
So you could light (and lighter) your blue, like from a deep night sky to a cartoon blue one, with big yellow stars, that would suit perfectly a wizzard hat in my opinion, and sparkle some yellow around you *
