They can be pretty expensive but I mean I started our just using the trail version of fl for a while and just messing around on there before I bought it when i wanted to take music a bit more seriously. If your just trying to figure out I’d this is something you wanna do I’d recommend just starting like that
@@onescale If you have the full version of FL Studio, you're set for EDM sound design and don't really need to buy any other stuff. Most of the plugins he uses in the video either come with fl studio or are free to download. The absolute best stock synths for this type of stuff are harmor and fruity granulizer (he uses it in the video). Then for the effects you have stuff like multiband delay (amazing effect), frequency shifter, and much more. For drums and stuff i say try to find a good free sample pack on the web (cymatics has some decent ones to start with). From there, it's all about just experimenting and finding out what sounds cool. Don't get discouraged if your first tracks sound bad, everyone's first tracks do. Hope this helps.
