8 Bit a.k.a. the third generation of gaming started in 1983 with the Japanese release of the Nintendo Family Computer and Sega. Can you guess what games inspired our old school video game version of Finding Nemo? What do you think of our Finding Nemo video game?
This reminds me so much of the Gameboy Advance version of this game. Honestly, for a movie game, it's pretty good. The 'level 4' in this is actually pretty similar to the 3rd section of Level 4 of the game where Bruce the shark chases you. I think. Awesome video! Brings back pretty good memories of car trips with my Gameboy :)
+pwoperbanana Level 10 is a masterpiece! Imagine same QTE-only level in GBA game!
Dang! This video is very nostalgic. I Rember watching this wayback in 2015
Hahaaa nice observation. I don't know, I might like to try being a fish for a day - just keep swimming, just keep swimming... sounds fun!
That'd be a cool one! Super speed and stretchy arms!!!
Oh man, I remember those original levels in The Little Mermaid for NES. I must've beaten it at least 8 or 9 times.
Loved the seagulls and their 8-bit version of "Mine? Mine? Mine?..."
AngusArt Entertainment
They also look like the ducks from Duck Hunt.
I had a finding nemo game just like this! It was on the gba so the graphics looked a little different, but it still looks very similar, and the levels were designed similar to this too!
Thumbs up for IGN giving 8 Bit Nemo some love!
My favourite was level 9 with the 'mine' seagulls!
This time Nemo found his dad in a heart beat. No obstacle was real hard for him.

This was one of your better ones imo. I like the 8 bit ones that resemble actual game-play rather than just cut-scenes. Its clever of you guys when you introduce the different concepts of gameplay through the story (like the dodging of seagulls) rather than just watching an assortment of random cut scenes. It's always amazing work, the music is fantastic and the artwork is of obvious quality. You guys must spend some consider time putting these together. Well done.
Where’s gill and the tank gang (Bloat Peach Gurgle Bubbles Deb/Flo Jaques)
Funny thing is, I have the cartridge of a 16-24 bit game of finding nemo.
lol, hey~! These are the graphics from that "Little Mermaid" game on the Nintendo. Ah, childhood memories.

Cinefix you did a great job of making the 8-bit brush
Es-cop-ay! That's funny it's spelled just like escape.
HERE'S BRUCEY!!!
"Fish are friends, not food"
You should do one of Sharknado.
I think something like that would have made a great game back in the day...
I loved this video. If it were 20 years ago, I could see this being a top game!
Loved the Ecco the Dolphin sprites ;)
Thanks!
Not bad would have liked to seen a scene in the dentist office. Also looking forward to when you do The Incredibles on 8 bit cinema
Please make an 8-bit Bambi.
The music kicks ass!

Can You Do Cars - 8 Bit Cinema Please? I Love this.
Matrix and Pulp Fiction are on our "Golden Movies" to-do-list ;)
I LOVE THIS MOVIE SO MUCH
this is remind me of bootleg fish games
Level 4 reminds me of the ship level from World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. Bravo!
0:24 perfectly cut
U know what, even in the Pixar film , I NEVER understood how the heck the sewer pipe from DENTIST office end up going straight into ocean floor with open end there.. Seriously!
Sewer pipe leads into sewege treatment plant, and when in cartoon I watched Nemo ended up going into the drain, I was scared as heck, knowing this is the certain death for Nemo. But when they show him come out of the pipe in the ocean, I was like- "ehm, this is bullsht".
'Ducktales' is probably one of the greatest Capcom games in general. I'd like to do one based on that game engine, but can't think of what movie yet.
Has anybody else noticed the graphics from "The little Mermaid" game on the NES?
OMG I DID
The sound effect at 1:11 is from Earthbound.
It comes after an enemy has been hit under certain circumstances, I think.
The angler fish scared the shit out of me when I was little
I love these
man thats my childhood right here
Reminds me of The Little Mermaid for nes =)
クオリティ高すぎ!
There should have been a level with the diver as the boss.
Probably because it is The Little Mermaid for the NES. Capcom's NES Disney games on the were usually great, and this one was pretty good.
Theis reminds me of the Gameboy Advanced game I had when I was a kid....
Eco the dolphin?
Alejandro Toro Pavón no, Finding Nemo for GBA
Little Mermaid
that game was THE SHIT!
Level 1: Coral’s death
Level 2: He touched the butt (boat)!
Level 3: Follow Dory
Level 4: I’m having fish tonight!
Level 5: Gee… it’s kinda dark. YIKES, an anglerfish!
Level 6: Jellyfish forest
Level 7: East Australian Current
Level 8: Out the whale’s blowhole
Level 9: Seagull frenzy!
Level 10: Swim down together!
Nostalgia
I love this
This game looks sweet!
You guys should do a Hancock 8bit
Me too!
This is way better than the emoji style
Awesome! I wanna play it...
fin noggin dude 😂
I would buy that game for my C64! :-)
Oh man, that gave me old school gamer PTSD. Could not afford to blink, it would be too dangerous.
The nostalgia...

This is probably the closest thing to an NES port of Finding Nemo video game... 😅
LOVE! Ok favorite Finding Nemo quotes... GO!
“If you are able to swim through… THE RING… OF FIRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!”
These videos are addictive as sugar! As soon as I'm done watching I just want more. :)
1. This looks pretty fantastic for 8 bit.
2. When will be able to play this?
funny how these 8 bit cinema's look better/more fun then the actual movie licensed games "based" on the movies.
You are very talented, in a nes way :)
これ作った人まじすげえな
A "shark bait woo haha" minigame involving a maze to shut off the filter pump would've been dope. Great video, tho!
"keep on swimming. keep on swimming. what will we do? keep on swimming"
0:10 Miss Oliver is punched by Dry Bowser.
Reminds me of feeding frenzy
Why is this on my recommended? Not sure, but im enjoying it.
How can you be so sure? I mean, it's your channel, but I'm pretty sure this is based on James Cameron's "The Abyss."
Or maybe Bergman's "The Seventh Seal." Which one has more fish?
Looks like a video game
This is just so hilarious! Quite very hysterical and a representation of what it would look like if Finding Nemo is a video game. Quite funny if you would ask me, I like it.
I played this game two days ago
The sprites for this were taken from the NES game The Little Mermaid.
0:21 Jacob puts Preston in the box and closes the lid.
Who?
i got a bit anxious while watching this even though i know exactly how the story goes lol
Was that a Currah Speech Cartridge at the end? Used to have one of those for the C64
0:24 Perfect Cut
I remember this
OMG The level design totally looks like "The Little Mermaid" on GameBoy !
I️ like the little mermaid nes backgrounds 😂
Do wreck it ralph!!
