Fun fact: Unlike real jellyfish, the jellyfish in Finding Nemo sting by electrifying other fish, while real ones poison other fish with a really poisonous toxin with no antidote.
Then what about the thing that Marlin doesn't get affected bc he's almost immune to poison

Anemones and jellyfish share a lot, including the mechanism with which they trap+poison prey (microscopic toxin-covered harpoons in pressurized cells, also why those tentacles are "sticky"), clownfish' mucus layer prevents them being affected, it can't get through.
