How long will he go? Butt? Knees? Ankles? Floor?
He said at least knees... but I think longer.
@@therudepack once his hair gets to his knees he will find it very hard to cut off any of his length. Once I hit knee length The thought of cutting it nauseated me. I am now at 4 inches beyond floor length.
You say knee length. Has he said that? Also what makes you think he will go longer than knee length?

How tall is Hector? I assume he is 5 feet 10 inches tall? His hair is currently 37 inches long? With that said, human hair grows 6 inches each year if not cut. Based on my calculations, his hair could be touching the floor in less than 6 years! But he cannot cut or even trim. Never. Treat it the way you have been and vow that cutting/trimming is done until his hair rests on the floor (while connected to his head of course, lol). He CAN do this if YOU BOTH want it@ Do you? Lol.
Thanks for the advice 😁 he is like 5'7 though lol we are a short family. Lol what you do to prevent split ends? Cuz I trim about 2 centimeters every 6 months when we see split ends.
@@therudepackI really do not get many split ends. But there are some great oils to help with that. Have you heard of the Search and Destroy method of dealing with split ends? It is where you snip each split end separately instead of cutting all of the hair. That could work.
At 5 foot seven, Hector's hair would probably reach ankle length in 5 years (30 more inches) and floor length in 6 years (36 inches). That is very doable.
Is his hair currently above his butt? Middle of his butt? Or end of his butt? Can he sit on it yet?
The way you both take care of his hair I think he can reach that goal if that is what he wants to do. I know you raised concerns about his employer allowing it. I hope that is not what holds him back.
5 foot 7 is not short, lol. If he has 6 feet of hair he will be considered long!

@@larsrapunzel2297 he doesn't get many split ends either, I think it's because we keep it in protective styles, like buns and braids. Soon as I see 1 or 2 I snip them, but I usually wound up dust all the ends. I'll try individual next time. Thanks for all the advice we appreciated it!
