So yay, I finished this animatic after having it sit in my wips folder for so long. You can tell by the multitude of art style changes haha. Not entirely happy with it, but it's a learning process! Thank you so much if you watched it!

i don't know how to be a normal human being after what this. it had everything. i freaking love hankim's car scene, Joongdok's trust test was heartbreaking, how happy they could be together. yoohan my beloveds, they've suffered so much they deserve that happy ending.

I like the depiction of Dokja's character in here and the novel, someone who was pushed down again and again was the one who saved everyone and in the end, he's still the one suffering for the sake of everyone by giving up half of himself to be with his friends and the other half to be the "Most Ancient Dream"
Dokja's character from the very beginning, even before the beginning, until beyond the end had always been a tragic character
Dokja's life is so tragic 😭

Han Sooyung and Yoo junghyuk, two people who didn't like each other but came together for one person whom they also didn't like but still loved. ORV wrecked me in a way not much things could do. I really hope people in my life also read it so I can ramble about it a lot.😭

When reading it, I imagined dokja slowly appeared as train door closed. And those two (soyoung and jonghyuk) turn around as if something feels wrong. But they cant see dokja on that train. Your depiction of those sceen is the closest to what I imagine. Thank you for creating this

This hurts SO BEAUTIFULLY. The two scenes of "lost in translation" (pic of YJH and KDJ) and "I asked for too much" (with HSY/KDJ) just about killed me. Your way with facial expressions is an absolute gift. Aww, these three, and how much they all love each other

I was reading the omniscient reader webtoon but the novel seemed too long so i didnt think about reading it. After watching this mv, i wanted to know what happened and everything so i decided to read the novel in the middle of my exams. I finished it within 10 days. Im gonna read it soon. I dont think i can get tired of this story. I wonder if one of the world-line has this characters existing and living happily with kim dokja. Itd be nice.

I remember reading ORV. It was the first time I've ever read a novel so long and captivating and I remembering crying so hard after finishing it. But honestly, it's because this novel was so long, I think it becomes more difficult for me to actually remember what has happened with so much happening. I find that pretty sad honestly

I first watched this a couple of weeks ago and found myself in love with this animatic. Everytime I watch anything ORV I feel apart of my sanity being shred to pieces. But it's worth of it, especially at 2:28, that specific scene took me back in time. Anyhow, just commented to really pay my respects to you.

@@Guilherme-ii7rr dokja got rescued and the title 'most ancient dream' was taken away, and in the process of being rescued dokjas soul ended up getting damaged and parts of it reincarnated into other worlds and joonghyuk went to those worldlines with biyoo and and found a writer in each one and brainwashed them into writing ways of survival so the person that was reincarnated using dokjas soul would read it and keep the dream going. It wasnt specified if dokja ever actually did wake up but its assumed that he did since all of his stories woke up, although if he did wake up, its the not real Kim Dokja since he's gone (idk where)

@@Tsuukii_theres a massive implication that we are the Dokja fragments that reincarnated into other worlds, and it's our job to help reincarnate him, therefore the open ending.

THAT'S ALL MY FAVORITES IN ONE LIKE- ehem anyways, then the video, I can't even explain this, it's like you just basically wrench my heart out-put it on a seatbelt-on the highest roller coaster of emotions I have ever seen, and after that I can't even blame you for it, instead I want to hug you and cry.
