I love this documentary and the connection between Coldplay and BTS. They seem to share the same values and both have amazing fanbases. When Chris talks about the difficulties in flying to Korea to record for 2 days it was because it was at the height of the pandemic. At that time, visitors to Korea had to quarantine in a facility for 14 days upon arrival before being allowed into Korea, so for him to have a 2 day turn around meant a lot of strings had to be pulled. (Tour was cancelled) but They produced so much in that period and all content was so good I was not aware of their dire straits. To me, v was the one who said he likes the band. Thanks to the documentary, the light was back onto Jin. Because of one production, there were interviews and we know more about their taste and train of thoughts. When they dropped fix you. I singled out Jin. Because to me, he was like brilliant on this cover. They taught me it is easy to be better. It sure required hard work and stamina. Brightness may be mundane. Then I read on twitter that Coldplay said well done and lots of comments explaining the band did not like this song being cover. It felt warm and fuzzy. Because in that lockdown period any piece of comfort was lovingly welcome. 2025 is just around our corner.
