My boyfriend is the same LOL when we are on staycations, for sure we'll have BTS music or videos playing and I ask him from time to time whose voices he likes, and his top picks are Jimin and Taehyung :D He's accompanied me to the cinema showings of the BTS documentaries and the Yet to Come Concert in Busan film, and for Namjoon's upcoming RPWP documentary, he just asked, "Do you want to watch it?", and of course, the answer is YES! LOL He'd buy me some of my merch too. :) He loves Jin's Happy album - he used to be in a band too so his appreciation for music is just there. Lucky to have a partner who understands my love for BTS as artists and as humans. When I asked him if he'd accompany me to a BTS concert when they do their comeback, and he said yes right away (granted, I told him typical ticket price ranges) LOL He's not ARMY-level yet but he really likes the songs he's heard so I can't complain!
watching you go through bts's catalog as a baby army is making me realize how much stuff isn't even on their albums, and baby armys wouldn't know about it without being told. your reaction reminded me of BTS's cover of Arirang, a traditional korean folk song they did where jin sounds absolutely heavenly on, that is only on a special cd that was released by the korean national museum for free with limited copies. we wouldn't have that audio if a kind fan didn't upload it for us. while the one live performance is great, i love the studio version as well.
